If the cattle need more nutrients and vitamins, the farmer supplements their grass and hay diet with barley, corn, wheatgerm grains. But mainly the green, green grass of home is all they need!
By checking the dung of the cattle, the farmer can tell if they need more hay in their diet. He can also tell their general health.
