What made you want to be a Quality Scout?
During our spare time my husband and I love to cook… I'd like to know what goes into your food – is it all bad for you, as some people claim? Or are you the victim of bad PR?
What are you hoping to find out?
To see how farmers feel about supplying their meat to McDonald’s. Do they feel it is a prestigious contract to win, and are they proud to be supplying McDonald’s?
Anything else you'd like to add?
In my previous job as a civil servant, I used to organise and manage events and exhibitions that promoted Welsh food and drink. So local produce being sold in local restaurants and food retailers is very important to me. It would be fantastic if one day McDonald’s offered this kind of local support for farmers!
