What made you want to be a Quality Scout?

I’d like to make some unbiased observations; hopefully that would satisfy the most sceptical people. I’m looking to find out if McDonald’s is actually a quality-conscious organisation.

What are you hoping to find out?

How does McDonald’s make sure the animals lead the best possible life before slaughter? And although I think the restaurants are well run, surely you could be doing more about the litter…?

Anything else you'd like to add?

Basically, what can McDonald’s tell me about the steps it’s taking to change? My opinion is that even fast food should be natural and contain good quality ingredients. Ethical responsibility and animal welfare are also important to me, especially as I’ve been lucky enough to travel to many parts of the world conducting environmental impact assessments as part of my job.
