What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 17. My friend's girlfriend who works at mcdonald told me that your burgers come in each morning made like that yet some are still used from previous days. Also the eggs that come in are in fact already shaped on the burger the only part which is apparently not done is the burger bun which apparently has chalk in it.
-
Apologies for the late reply to your question but no, this is definitely not true. Whenever possible, McDonald's will use fresh ingredients, for example, the fruit and salad ingredients. Some menu ingredients – including beef patties, chicken, fish and the French Fries – are frozen to ensure that they are at their best when they reach the restaurant, but only in their original form, i.e. not with buns, salad or pickles! All this is freshly prepared in the restaurant. Once prepared, there is a strict holding time for food to ensure that it remains fresh. The holding time for each product varies depending on the type of food. For example, a burger or sandwich is held for ten minutes and French Fries are held for five minutes, whereas the holding time for a salad is up to eight hours in the fridge, just as you would at home.
There should never be any burgers served after ten minutes, let alone the next day. Equally, eggs arrive fresh (in shells apart from scrambled egg) and are not served on beef burgers (did you mean a breakfast sandwich?). And no, there is no chalk in the buns.

-
Unless you have specific allergies, McDonald's food contains nothing that should make a healthy person ill or feel sick in any way. All the ingredients that are used are similar to those you would buy in the supermarket or use at home. However, if you feel that your food is not up to the high standards that you expect from McDonald's, please bring it to the attention of the restaurant manager who will be happy to arrange a fresh order made for you.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 20. Why do your hamburgers (and more often quarter pounder burgers) bleed? (ie. why can traces of blood be found in your burger after it has been cooked?)
-
This should not happen. The beef patties are cooked, without added fat or oil, between hot plates that cook the patties thoroughly from both sides - a similar cooking process to the grilling machines that are sold in kitchenware stores. An automatic timer is used to make sure each burger is cooked for the right amount of time. Restaurant and area managers also carry out regular checks to be certain everything is being cooked appropriately. However, if you're ever dissatisfied with the food you have received McDonald's would encourage you to inform the restaurant manager or call Customer Services on 08705 244 622 so that they can investigate any matters on your behalf.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 21. I do like mcdonalds, but why does burgerking taste like proper meat whereas mcdonalds doesn't. I know mcdonalds contains 100 percent beef it just doesn't taste like it
-
The company is sorry to hear that its beef products aren't to your taste. As you quite rightly state in your question, McDonald's burgers are made from only the best ingredients, flash frozen and then grilled on the bespoke hot plates with only a pinch of salt and pepper added for taste. What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 23. is the beef in you burgers sometimes made from zebu because it's lower quality and cheaper than other breeds of cattle yet still counts as beef?
-
No, this is not true. McDonald's hamburgers have always been sourced and made from 100 percent beef. In the UK, McDonald's only use beef from cattle (cows) under 30 months old. The cattle are specifically reared for beef production and can be from pure breeds and a combination of cross breeds. This could also include a cross bred Friesian or Holstein, for example, where the farmer has taken a decision to raise beef calves from his dairy herd. Rest assured that the Zebu breed is not part of McDonald’s supply chain.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 24. In your ingredients list, next to '100% Beef Patty' is an asterix *, but I can find no reference to it at the bottom of the list. What does it mean? Can you guarentee that a 100% Beef Patty has absolutely nothing else in it except beef, no additives, nothing. thanks
-
It sounds as if you are referring to the Quarter Pounder ingredients list, which has an asterix mark at the end of the words 'Quarter Pounder with cheese.' If you have another look, you will see that the asterix information is drawing a note to the fact that the Quarter Pounder has a pre-cooked weight of 113.4g, and that this will likely reduce after cooking. You can rest assured that McDonald's hamburgers are made from 100 per cent beef and nothing else.

This is very far from the truth. The burgers are made from minced 100 percent beef with nothing else added except a pinch of salt and pepper for seasoning when cooked. (June 2007)

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 26. Why are your burgers such an unappetising grey colour?
-
This should not be the case. All McDonald's hamburgers are made of beef from whole cuts of forequarter and flank (similar to the mince you'd buy in the supermarket). All that's added is a pinch of salt and pepper after cooking. If you feel that your meal was unsatisfactory, please contact the Customer Services team on 08705 244622 so they can take the details of your complaints and investigate the issue on your behalf.

-
All McDonald’s sandwiches have a specific quantity of sauce unless the customer requests otherwise. A number of customers do request extra sauce which may take a little longer to prepare. If you have found that you are not receiving the correct amount of sauce on an individual visit, please speak to the manager, or you could contact the Customer Services team on 08705 244 622.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 28. can you explain how do you make the burgers because they taste so good and how do you make the sauce's and how the mcdonal's start. thanks catia menezes plymouth england

Burger patties are made from whole cuts of quality 100 percent beef. The beef is minced and formed into burgers, which are then frozen and supplied to restaurants. They are cooked from frozen on a two-sided hotplate and seasoned afterwards with a pinch of salt and pepper. The burgers are then added to the buns and the other ingredients before being served. No hot food item is sold more then ten minutes after it has been cooked. The sauces are all pre-made and supplied to the restaurants. In some cases, McDonald’s uses well-known brands like Heinz for its ketchup and Hellmann’s for its mayonnaise. However, something like the Big Mac sauce will be made specially for McDonald’s - and its recipe is a closely guarded secret. If you’d like to find out more about the individual ingredients to each of the sauces, they are available online in the ‘Eat Smart’ under ‘Ingredients List’ at www.mcdonalds.co.uk. The McDonald’s business started in 1954 when Ray Croc was appointed as a franchisee by Mac and Dick McDonald in San Bernardino, California. Within five years the 100th McDonald’s was opened in Chicago, and today there are over 30 000 restaurants worldwide serving 50 million people each day in more than 100 countries and territories.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 30. what is the nutrtional value of a selection of your foods?

It is hard to answer your question without you being a bit more specific. However, to give you an example: a Big Mac provides 495 calories, 29 grams of protein, 24 grams of fat, 41 grams of carbohydrate, 2 grams of salt, and 9 grams of saturated fat. Please visit the Eat Smart section at www.mcdonalds.co.uk – the nutrition counter will work out the nutritional values of all the McDonald’s core menu items.
