All McDonald’s food can be enjoyed as part of a varied and balanced diet. Certain menu ranges have been extended to include more choice for customers, such as adding Fruit Bags and Carrot Sticks. Swapping Fries for Carrots Sticks or a Garden Salad would reduce the calorie content of a meal. McDonald’s has also been taking positives steps to reduce salt levels and trans fats levels in line with government guidelines. The changes that have been made have come about through listening to customers and are proving popular.
JULY '07 UPDATE: McDonald's UK now uses a new non-hydrogenated, GM free cooking oil. This reduces the levels of Trans Fatty Acids (TFAs) to their lowest possible levels - less than two percent (naturally occurring TFAs make it impossible to reach zero percent). The oil (a blend of sunflower and rapeseed) has been carefully developed to ensure it does not raise saturated fat content, or change the taste.
FEBRUARY '08 UPDATE: McDonald’s UK now do not use any hydrogenated oil in any food items across the entire menu

I do occasionaly enjoy a mcdonalds however after having one i get heart plapitations. Is this because your food is bad for me and making my heart work harder because of the high sugar or fat content in it? Or could there be another reason?
