- 16. pleas can you tell my why one of you staff was cleaning food from the tables with her bar hands.and just brushing it to the floor
-
This should not have happened. The normal procedure for cleaning tables would be to use sanitising fluid and a cloth. If you have seen something different to this please talk to the restaurant manager about this or contact Customer Services on 08705 244 622, or by visiting the ‘Contact Us’ section at www.mcdonalds.co.uk so that your complaint can be investigated.

Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 17. i was alarmed recently to see a member of staff sweating, wiping her face with her hand and then carying on to serve food. why is it that some staff where hairnets and hats and others dont? and why havnt the staff got air con or fans in your restaraunts?
-
McDonald’s is sorry to hear of your experience. All food handling staff should wear hats and also hairnets if they have long or difficult to control hair. If this is not the case then staff members are not required to do so. McDonald’s restaurants do have air conditioning installed in both the customer and staff areas to help try and regulate the temperature so that it is comfortable. If you do see anything that you feel is unhygienic, or notice a specific incident please speak to the restaurant manager so you’re your concerns can be looked into.

McDonald’s staff members are instructed on when and how to use a hairnet if hair can’t be controlled by the hat. Please do talk to the manager of the restaurant if you don’t feel that this is being dealt with appropriately or you see a specific problem or a situation.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 22. On many occasions and in more than one restaurant, i've seen members of staff handling money and then touching food without washing their hands. This happenswhen burgers are passed from the grill area over the top of the burger storage area and the cashiers are then wrapping the food up - especially cheeseburgers and hamburgers. This is wrong and greatly increases the risks to infection and McDonalds should do more to stop it.
-
There are a small number of McDonald’s restaurants that use a ‘sandwich-shop style’ system whereby some of the hamburgers are wrapped in the front counter area. This wrapping procedure is undertaken by either dedicated staff or staff wearing special food handling gloves. In addition all staff members are also required to follow strict hand washing procedures to ensure that food is hygienic and safe. If you feel that this has not been the case please talk to the restaurant manager about this or call Customer Services on 08705 244622.
