1. Why is it that McDonald's have Chicken McNuggets and a McChicken Sandwich? Shouldn't they both be McChicken? Is this just lazy brand management?
Thanks for you question. There is nothing lazy about the branding, the ‘Mc’ is related to the word ‘McDonald's’ and are a trademarked name. It gives McDonald’s unique food their distinctive identity. (June 2008)

9. Why is the Chicken Sandwich called a 'Sandwich' and not a Chicken Burger? What constitutes the difference?

Every effort is made in the preparation of the chicken breast meat and the final product checks on the finished Chicken McNuggets to ensure that this does not happen. The company apologises for the fact that a piece of bone may have inadvertantly slipped through all the checks. You might like to reassure yourself about the safety procedures in place by taking a look at the recent independent Quality Scout report on the making of McNuggets.
