- 1. Why when I ask for a double cheese burger only ketchup do the staff then leave out the cheese as well.....surely this would be a double burger as the word cheese is a clue to the required ingredients!
-
Sincere apologies from the team for the late reply to your question.
McDonald's apologises for the incorrect order. There is no reason why your Double Cheeseburger should arrive without the cheese. If this happens again, please bring it to the attention of the restaurant manager who will have the order prepared correctly for you and also have the matter investigated on your behalf. As McDonald's does not sell a double hamburger, the staff member may have mistakenly interpreted an order for a Double Cheeseburger with only ketchup as for one without cheese?

A McDonald's Cheeseburger is made up of a 100 per cent beef patty, a bun, cheddar cheese slice (processed), Heinz Tomato Ketchup, mustard, diced onions and gherkin. The gherkin has been a key ingredient of McDonald's Hamburgers from the beginning, and is what gives the burgers their signature taste that many customers enjoy all over the world. If you would like to have your burger without gherkin, just let the crew member know when you are making your order, and they will arrange for you to have a fresh burger prepared without it. You can find more information about McDonald's food in the 'Ingredients List' which is available in the 'Eat Smart' section at www.mcdonalds.co.uk

-
McDonald's doesn’t think the Double Cheeseburgers are greasy. The Cheeseburger patties, like all the beef patties, are cooked on a double-sided grill – similar to ones you can buy in kitchen supply shops – and no oil is added. The Double Cheeseburger is one of the most popular burgers on the menu and is enjoyed by millions of people worldwide.

-
Cheeseburgers with all the ingredients included are ready more quickly. This is how the majority of customers prefer them, so they can be easily pre-prepared. If you feel you have had to wait too long for a Cheeseburger without relish, please talk to the appropriate restaurant manager about it.
