What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 47. the answers on this site are rubbish. you've just used a couple of answers and copied them. the answers should be responded to individually. i've just read all of the questions and answers and more than 5 of the answers don't answer the questions and there are more that contradict. maybe you should think about personalising the answers so that people use this site more!!!
-
You are right, there have been some teething troubles on this site, which are now being addressed. These include the point you raise about the need to give more individual answers to questions that raise different concerns. The questions are all being responded to individually, but in some instances a single or similar answer may be relevant to more than one question if they are similar.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 48. I posted three questions a couple of weeks ago but you did not answer them or put them on your site. What is going on? Derek

The response to this site has been so huge and the company intend on having all your questions published on the site as soon as possible. In the meantime, we have been answering as many questions as possible and you can see these in the ‘Questions Answered’ section on the site. As you’ll see from the list of questions we have already published, McDonald’s is not avoiding any ‘difficult’ issues –and is committed to giving answers to any genuine questions asked.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 51. Why don't the faces on this website look anything like the faces behind the counters at any of your burger bars?
-
The pictures on the website are of real people on the street who have been used to represent the wide range of people who have been asking questions.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 52. Why are all the people featured on this page women who would probably never eat a Mc burger?
-
Approximately half of all the photographs used throughout the site are of males and the other half are females. Lots of different people, from lots of different walks of life enjoy McDonald’s – about two million a day in the UK alone. The photographs shown on the site are representative of this wide cross-section of people who visit McDonald’s restaurants.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 53. Why have you chosen to ignore my question?
-
McDonald’s is trying to make sure everyone gets a personal response wherever possible and the ‘Make Up Your Own Mind’ team are working hard to get answers to your questions as soon as possible. It’s just that the response to the site has been huge, and it’s taking some time to get through all the questions that have been asked.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 54. Why is that, you do not actually answer the questions, particularly in relation to speed rearing chickens and rainforest clearing. You have delibratly asked people to question your business, yet you have not given us straight answers as your website sugests you do?
-
There were some teething problems with the site at the beginning and some questions were not answered accurately or thoroughly enough. These issues are being addressed and part of this process is to ensure that all responses are answered in a frank and individual manner. And here are two answers to the issues you mention, chicken rearing and the rainforest. In the UK, chickens reared for human consumption are bred to reach their optimum weight in around 40 days. The British Poultry Council sets these standards in relation to the production of chicken, which is managed through a set of standards called Assured Chicken Production (ACP) and all McDonald’s chicken suppliers must conform to these directives. With regard to the rainforest, McDonald's globally has a long-standing policy not to source beef from recently deforested areas in the Amazon Rainforest. By implementing this policy McDonald’s is ensuring that beef production doesn’t result in the clearance of rainforest and together with Greenpeace, have instigated an agreement by the Brazilian Association of Vegetable Oil Industries and the National Association of Grain Exporters and their members that they will not trade soya from deforested areas within the Amazon as of October 2006.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 55. Why are all the pictures on your website middle aged women? That is a serious question, I want to know why you don't have any men...
-
This is not intentional and is in fact not the case. The photographs on the website represent a cross section of the general public and are an even mixture of both males and females of all ages. Each time that you visit the site or change sections within the site the images are updated and this might be the reason why you haven’t seen them all yet.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 56. You say nothing about answering the most difficult questions you receive, which would be far more honest. Why not?
-
As stated in the terms and conditions for the site, McDonald’s is answering all questions from the straight-forward to the difficult as you can see from the questions and answers already published. However, it will not publish a rant – as no genuine question has been asked, nor any question that includes bad language. If you feel that there is a difficult question that has not been answered – then perhaps it hasn’t been asked? So why don’t you ask it.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 58. Why do you have no male faces attached to your Q + A drop downs on this site ?
-
The site has been updated and there the people pictures are no longer there. However, there were actually ten photographs used on the website. Half of the photographs were of males and the other half were of females. Each time you visited one of the pages the images would update to change between images of men and women. For this reason it might sometimes have seemed like there were more images of women than men on certain pages and vice versa.
