76. I heard that your burge meat is taken from from the vagina of cows. Can you confirm 100% that this is not true?
McDonald's only uses whole cuts of forequarter and flank of 100 percent beef. McDonald's UK source nearly all the meat from farmers in the UK and Ireland. McDonald's has a policy to source the beef locally wherever possible and last year over 16,000 British and Irish farmers supplied us with beef. In times of particularly high demand the company also source from farms in the European Union. All these farms produce to the same industry leading standards, and McDonald's is able to trace exactly which farms our beef comes from, the farmers' names and how the animals were reared.

78. is the meat the burgers are made from just left over scrap?
No. McDonald's only uses whole cuts of 100 percent beef forequarter and flank, nothing else. Skilled butchers prepare the beef just as they would in a butcher's shop, taking care to trim the meat to our standards prior to delivery to the company that makes the hamburger patties.

84. What new burgers have you got? i had a burger in Amsterdam with a hash brown and bacon and chese sauce.. do they do this one in england, Bury?
McDonald's UK does not have a sandwich that incorporates the Hash Brown or the other ingredients you mentioned. However the breakfast menu has the Hash Brown as an option, and you could try the tasty new Bacon, Egg and Cheese Bagel also from the breakfast menu as a separate sandwich or as part of a meal and create your own unique treat. If you fancy something from the main menu, then why not try something from the new Summer BBQ food range? There is the Big BBQ Burger, the BBQ Chicken Premiere with Bacon or you may be tempted by the delicious Mozzarella Dippers. (August 2007)

88. No, these are not straight answers. People keep asking how many cows go into one burger and there is the same generic response, like an advertisement. HOW MANY COWS ARE IN ONE BURGER?? Give me a number, NOT A GENERIC RESPONSE. Obviously you are trying to avoid the question by diverting the topic to orange juice.
McDonald's is not trying to evade a direct answer and is sorry that you feel that this is the case; the reference to orange juice and milk was simply used for illustrative purposes. Beef is delivered from the approved abattoirs in bulk and will be made up a forequarter and flank cuts from a number of beef animals. Therefore, it is impossible to answer the question precisely. In the same way, if you buy a multi-pack of chicken pieces or a pack of mince in your local supermarket, then these will be sourced from any number of animals and packaged as one. (June 2007)

90. PEOPLE KEEP ASKING YOU WHY YOUR BURGERS ARE 'GERY' IN COLOUR, WHEN BURGERS MADE IN A BUTCHERS ARE MUCH RICHER IN COLOUR, AND REDDER. IN YOUR ANSWERS TO THIS QUESTION THAT I HAVE READ, YOU AVOID ANSWERING THE QUESTION ALTOGETHER, INSTEAD YOU TALK ABOUT THE COOKING PROCESS. CAN WE HAVE A STRAIGHT ANSWER ON THIS PLEASE?
Sorry that you feel that a straight answer has not been given. There is no reason why the McDonald's burgers should look grey: when cooked, they should look exactly the same as a similar product purchased from a butcher or a supermarket. The only difference in appearance before cooking is that the McDonald's burgers are frozen and you might be comparing these visually with fresh: the only difference after cooking might be the length of time that you choose to cook your burgers for against the carefully monitored temperature and cooking time procedures for a McDonald's burger.
