47. why is madonalds so nice ?
McDonald's takes great pride in sourcing high quality ingredients across all its menu items. Whether it's 100 percent beef from British and Irish farms, free range eggs from UK poultry farms, Hoki fish from the seas off New Zealand, or sauces from top brands such as Heinz and Hellmans, no ingredients are sourced purely on price considerations. Not to mention the friendly staff that help make the McDonald's experience a good one.

48. Why are your products so overcooked that they taste like cardboard also why can't I get anything thats not covered in sauces or relishes including mayo
Sorry to hear that you don't enjoy the taste of the food. McDonald's UK serves over two million customers every day and their opinions are very important to us. McDonald's classic burgers owe their much-loved status to a set of ingredients, including the sauces and relishes, which define their unique taste. However, if you would like to enjoy your burger without them, just ask at the counter and the staff will make you one to order. And if you're ever dissatisfied with the food you have received McDonald's would encourage you to inform the restaurant manager or call Customer Services on 08705 244 622 so that this can be fully investigated. 49. If you only put salt and pepper in the beef to make the burgers why don't my homemade ones taste exactly the same. what is the secret. is it organs?
No organs are used in the ingredients for any of McDonald's food items. McDonald's use 100 percent beef in hamburgers, which is brought from farms accredited by nationally, recognised Farm Assurance Schemes. Only whole cuts of forequarter and flank beef cuts are used with nothing added. Skilled butchers prepare the beef just as they would in a butcher' shop, taking care to trim the meat to McDonald's standards before it is delivered to the company that makes the hamburger patties. Nothing is added or taken away from the beef-preservatives, additives, binders or fillers are never used. In the restaurant, two-sided hot plates are used to cook the beef, so no extra fat is needed during cooking. After cooking, the beef is seasoned with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. (June 2007)

50. Is it true that you use Formax machines to shape your burgers? why are you using a machine which was designed to operate with low grade meat to produce low quality burgers if you claim they are high quality?
The company dont use Formax machines to shape the burger patties. The beef patties look round and have a standard shape because McDonald’s UK uses only one supplier, who works to very exacting standards. Consistent excellence is vital to McDonald’s and the company goes to great lengths to make sure that all of the beef patties look just as they should. (October 2006)

53. is it true a a macodonalds burger only takes 45 seconds to cook. and do you accept that htis is notaably low therefor indicating there is little substance to a macdonalds burger
McDonald’s Hamburgers take approximately 42 seconds to cook. The beef patties are cooked between hot plates that cook the patties from both sides - a similar cooking process to the grilling machines that are sold in a variety of kitchenware stores. Its lower cooking surface reaches 177 degrees centigrade, and the top plate reaches 218 degrees centigrade. The clamshell design allows for the burger patty to cook evenly and quickly from both sides. All the food and cooking equipment go through stringent tests to ensure that they represent the best quality in the quickest time. The burger patties themselves are 100 percent beef, no binders, fillers or additives, with a little salt and pepper added after cooking for taste. (May 2007)

55. My father is a butcher. I've watched a cow carcass turn into a beefburger and have eaten it later the same day. Why are his soft, reddish-brown and succulent - and McDonald's invariably grey and bland?
McDonald’s does not believe that its burgers are bland. All hamburger patties are made from 100 percent beef. Nothing else. Whole cuts of forequarter and flank are used (the same as any good mince you may buy at the supermarket), with a pinch of salt and pepper used after cooking for taste. (May 2007)

58. why do you have to put cheese with everything not very one likes cheese
Not all the products contain cheese. The products that do contain cheese, such as the Cheeseburger and the Big Mac, have just the right amount of cheese that McDonald’s feels compliments the sandwich perfectly. However, it is possible to order any of the sandwiches without cheese. You just need to ask the crew member when you place your order.
