17. it seems to me that you have made these answers up yourselves, if you hadn't you would know that nobody in the UK uses the word "patties", or knows what it means. you have also avoided the actual questions - such as - why do you cut down fainforests in the amazon to farm your cattle on when the rainforest percentage across the world is depleating to dangerous levels - how do you KILL your animals - we've all seen the chicken farm and cattle slaughter houses you claim are 'humaine". you also repeat your answers to every question with almost exactly the same answers.
The answers aren’t made up. The questions are answered by the McDonald’s 'Make Up Your Own Mind' team, comprised of McDonald’s experts. Hamburger patties is a common phrase referring to the meat inside the burger which many people are familiar with here in the UK as well as in other countries. McDonald's globally has a policy not to take cattle from rainforest or recently deforested areas. After discussions with McDonald’s, Greenpeace and other NGOs, the Brazilian Association of Vegetable Oil Industries and the National Association of Grain Exporters and their members have agreed not to trade soya from deforested areas within the Amazon as of October 2006. McDonald’s has standards in place that are continually monitored to ensure that the slaughter of animals is carried out in a humane and compassionate manner. The company won’t work with any supplier who does not adhere to high standards, and those required by UK and EU legislation. At times it may look as if there is some repetition on the website because many of the questions being asked are similar. The facts about McDonald’s food, environmental practices and business remain the same regardless of the question asked and this is why the same answer will sometimes be given more than once.
