- 76. Why do you use horse meat in your hamburgers
-
McDonald's does not use horse meat in their burgers. All McDonald's hamburgers are made of beef. Nothing else. Just 100 percent beef, made from whole cuts of forequarter and flank (similar to the mince you'd buy in the supermarket). All that's added is a pinch of salt and pepper after cooking.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 78. are your baconburgers kosher?
-
It sounds like you may be referring to the Bacon Cheeseburger. This item is not Kosher for two reasons, firstly the Torah classifies pork as unacceptable to eat, and secondly the rules of Kashrut say that meat may not be eaten in conjunction with diary products such as cheese.

-
The term ‘hamburger’ is a generic name for a style of beef sandwich that originated from Hamburg, Germany in the late 18th century. Originally called the ‘Hamburg Steak’, an early reference appears in 1802 edition of the Oxford Dictionary. This sandwich was made, and continues to be made, from beef, not pork.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 83. have you ever used anything BUT 100% meat in your burgers?
-
Yes. McDonald's burgers are 100 percent beef, but from time to time depending on changes to the menu, the burgers may also incorporate herbs and spices for distinctive flavours. An example of this is the recent McDonald's Greek Mac. McDonald's always makes sure that this information is available to customers as part of the ingredients declarations.

There are no ‘veins’ left in the burgers. The meat is 100 percent beef, minced in a similar way that a supermarket or butcher would mince whole cuts of quality meat.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 85. How much water is in your beef burger, the chicken burger and the Nuggetts
-
The beef that McDonald’s uses is 100 percent beef, from cuts of forequarter and flank and therefore, does not contain any water. However, if you are talking about the whole burger, with bun, sauces and cheese, then some of these will contain water as one of the ingredients. For example, the burger bun consists of 30 percent water, the Big Mac sauce consists of 29 percent water, and Chicken McNuggets contain 15 percent water. -
McDonald's only uses whole cuts of forequarter and flank of 100 percent beef. McDonald's UK source nearly all the meat from farmers in the UK and Ireland. McDonald's has a policy to source the beef locally wherever possible and last year over 16,000 British and Irish farmers supplied us with beef. In times of particularly high demand the company also source from farms in the European Union. All these farms produce to the same industry leading standards, and McDonald's is able to trace exactly which farms our beef comes from, the farmers' names and how the animals were reared.

-
No. McDonald's only uses whole cuts of 100 percent beef forequarter and flank, nothing else. Skilled butchers prepare the beef just as they would in a butcher's shop, taking care to trim the meat to our standards prior to delivery to the company that makes the hamburger patties.
