-
Firstly, apologises to you for the late reply, it seems your question originally slipped through, so thank you for your patience.
McDonald's food contains nothing that should make a healthy person ill or feel sick in any way, unless you have allergies to certain foods. All ingredients that are used are similar to those you would buy in the supermarket or use at home. Equally, McDonald's Chicken McNuggets undergo strict checks throughout their preparation to ensure there is no chance of any contamination of the food - if you are interested in more detail on this, there is a Scout report on the site that shows the full preparation process for Chicken McNuggets. You can also find out more about McDonald's food and ingredients in the 'Ingredients List' at www.mcdonalds.co.uk, or at www.mcdonaldsmenu.info.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 3. your fires are made from leftovers - isnt that true? also the mcchisken sandwich uses reconstituted meat...?
-
No, both of your suggestions are not right. The French Fries are made from Russet Burbank, Shepody and Pentland Dell potatoes, with a sprinkle of salt after cooking and, at the beginning of the potato season a light coating of dextrose to help the fries brown properly. The only meat used in McDonald’s McChicken Sandwich is carefully deboned chicken breast.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 4. How can you guarantee the beef you use for your burgers is quality? Are cows run through a krypton factor style race course? Don't you think the prize for coming 1st is a little harsh? I think this would be a good idea, it would certainly go a long way to making your burgers taste less life threatening, and it's good marketing. You could have book signing sessions with the champion, then you can EAT him. How many athletes in professional sport let you digest their leg? I can only think of 4

Thanks for all your suggestions. McDonald's is able to vouch for the quality of its beef based on the standards and processes in hand for suppliers at each stage of the beef supply chain. And all of the beef is sourced, other than in exceptional periods of demand, from farms in the British Isles and Ireland. Indeed, each box of patties can be traced all the way back to the source farm. This quality is further guaranteed by the cuts of meat used in the patties: 100% whole cuts of beef taken from the forequarter and flank. And then there is the cooking process. Not only do these standards monitor the quality of the animals and the beef but also adhere to strict standards of animal welfare, above and beyond those required by UK and EU legislation. So whilst we appreciate your suggestions, the company has many checks in place to ensure that not only is the beef of the highest standards but the cattle also enjoy the best possible environment in life and through slaughter and this is borne out by the uncensored reports from the independent Quality Scouts found on this site.

Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 5. at school we were asked to reaserch what was put into your food and the information that we found was discratious!! you put feathers into your shakes, you put cows eyeballs into your beef as part of your 100% beef, you coat the fruit into bleach, CANT YOU SEE THAT YOU ARE SLOWLY KILLING PEOPLE WITH THIS JUNK FOOD?
-
Thanks for your interest in McDonald’s, but the things you've mentioned are definitely not true. The burgers are exclusively made from whole cuts of forequarter and flank beef, which is the front shoulder and sides of the cattle. There are no eyeballs in the burgers. Milkshakes are 75 percent milk, produced from UK dairy farms - with no added feathers. If you’d like to know more, all McDonald’s food, ingredients and nutritional information is available online in the ‘Eat Smart’ section at www.mcdonalds.co.uk. Also you can follow the McDonald’s Quality Scouts programme. They’re members of the public who are visiting farms, suppliers and restaurants to see firsthand how the food is made, and reporting back their finding on this site.

-
McDonald's takes great pride in sourcing high quality ingredients across all its menu items. Whether it's 100 percent beef from British and Irish farms, free range eggs from UK poultry farms, Hoki fish from the seas off New Zealand, or sauces from top brands such as Heinz and Hellmans, no ingredients are sourced purely on price considerations.

-
McDonald’s would dispute that its beef is of a low quality. The meat McDonald’s uses is 100 percent beef from whole cuts of forequarter and flank and some of the UK’s leading supermarkets will use the rear of the same animal to supply their steaks In terms of grading, cattle in Europe are graded according to their conformation or body structure, fat score, gender and date of birth.
