- 16. You say that the Qourn burger was taken off the menu as it was not very popular. I have seen a number of requests for it to come back so it was not as un populaur as you say it was. Also my local MCDONALDS do not do the veggie delux and i hate cheese so cant have the melt. Now if i go into your resturant what can i have? Dont say Fries as that is not a meal.

The Vegetarian Deluxe is available where the demand is high and the Quorn Burger was removed as it really didn't prove popular with customers. McDonald's listens to and strives to keep up with the needs and expectations of its customer and many suggestions have been taken onboard and are now available in the restaurants. For example, there are a number of options now available for vegetarians such as the Spicy Veggie Deli Sandwich, Pancakes and Syrup, Bagles, Oatso Simple, Garden Salad, Ice Cream Cones, Carrot Sticks, Fruit Bags, Blueberry Muffins, Triple Chocolate Muffins and various beverages. Considering McDonald's is primarily a burger joint, do you find it annoying that vegetarians constantly moan about not having enough ooptions available? I don't go to a vegetarian restaurant and ask for a steak! Please reply, this site is great.

Thanks for the support. Although much of McDonald's menu is meat based, McDonald's still believes in trying to consider all of its customers' tastes and needs, across today's wide range of personal diet choices. McDonald's aims to provide choice and value across its menu: vegetarian or not, there is something for everybody at McDonald's restaurants.

Menu items are constantly being reviewed due to changing customer tastes and preferences. McDonald's found that customers didn't respond well to the Grilled Veggie Melt and so it was taken off the menu. It sounds like you are talking about the 'Deli of the Day' promotion. With this offer, one type of Toasted Deli Sandwich is available each day for the special price of £1.99. However, the Spicy Veggie Toasted Deli is also available everyday of the week, at its normal price.

Thanks for the question; McDonald's appreciates your views. A vegetarian Happy Meal has been trialed before but didn't prove popular at the time. However, a new trial is underway that does include some additional fruit, vegetable and side choices that are vegetarian. I am a vegetarian, i like the idea of the deli sandwiches, however, you only have one vegetarian option and this is Spicy veggie. i don't like spicy food and i'm pretty sure i'm not the only veggie who doesn't so you don't really cater for vegetarians in this section as some people just want a normal meat free deli sandwich which don't offer. what will you do about this.

There are lots of tasty alternatives for vegetarians available on the current menu. There is the Veggie Deluxe Burger and Grilled Veggie Melt Toasted Deli Sandwich, the Garden Side Salad, Carrot Sticks, Fruit Bags, and the French Fries. What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 27. Why have Mcdonalds stopped selling both versions of the vegetarian burger. I myself am a vegetarian and both were nice. I now dont got to Mcdonalds as i have nothing to eat which means my friends who arnt vegetarians also eat elsewhere when with me. The vege melt sandwhich thing, has anyone actually tasted it, its appalling and i wouldnt eat one for free never mind pay for one.

You might be interested to know that the Strawberry Milkshakes are now also suitable for vegetarians. McDonald’s no longer uses E120 cochineal as a colouring. The new colouring is an agent of beetroot juice concentrate which is a natural extract of beetroot.
