That's one view. The other is that McDonald's takes a lot of time and effort sourcing the best ingredients for its products and then producing great tasting food at affordable prices. The ingredients used in McDonald's food are exactly the same as you would find in a supermarket or use to cook meals at home. Therefore, there's no reason why eating McDonald's food should have an adverse impact on your health unless you have a food intolerance in which case you might be as well checking this with your GP. 53. We have noticed that the quality of food varies quite a lot. Sometimes the food is perfect: very hot, crispy fries etc. Other times the burgers can be luke warm and the fries soft and yucky. What quality standards do McDonalds enforce to ensure that food is served at the highest quality, and how effective is this given our experiences?
Thank-you for your comments. Food quality and safety is of the utmost importance to McDonald's. McDonald's works closely with the suppliers to ensure that the highest food quality and safety procedures are in place from field right through to front counter. All McDonald's restaurant staff are trained in Food Safety and Hygiene when they start working for the company. Their awareness of the importance of hygiene around food preparation continues throughout their employment. McDonald's uses the best quality ingredients, produced to the highest standards.
