137. you say that in reality customers only eat in your stores 2 to 3 times a month. What percentage of your profits are made from these customers? How often do the customers that make up the biggest percentage of your profits visit your stores?
It’s correct to say that on average McDonald's customers eat at its restaurants 2-3 times per month. Like any business some people visit more often, some less - and McDonald's generally make more profit from those who visit more often. The company is sure you’ll appreciate that the exact breakdown of the kind of financial information you are asking for is highly confidential and McDonald's doesn’t release it.

139. What is your annual staff turnover? Why do you think it's so high?
McDonald’s UK doesn’t publish their turnover figures because these can’t be compared properly to other companies’ staff turnover figures - different methods of calculation are used. However, staff turnover at McDonald’s is lower than average for the fast food / quick service restaurant sector and it must also be taken into account that there are a lot of temporary and seasonal workers within the McDonald’s workforce. Turnover is monitored every two weeks and the rate of staff turnaround has decreased as improvements are being for staff.
