- 1. A previous question asked about serving of halal and kosher foods in your UK restaurants. You answered that you do not serve halal but you said nothing about kosher food. Do your UK restaurants server kosher in any menu or restaurant?

At this current time, McDonald's UK lacks the necessary infrastructure in its supply chain to guarantee the specific requirements for Kosher. However, as things move forward this may change. Keep up to date by visiting the site and mcdonalds.co.uk for possible future developments. Here you can also find a full list of ingredients for all UK menu items.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 3. Why does the food served not match the photographs on display? I often ask this question at my local branch. For my trouble I recieve a frosty face and pickle slapped on my big mac. I want exactly what is advertised please.

Food items shown in pictures or adverts are prepared using the same menu ingredients and are made in line with the same specifications that are given to employees in all McDonald's restaurants. McDonald's always strives to match the photographs and provide you with the food that you see in the quickest time but this is not always possible in a busy restaurant situation. If you feel, at any time, that the standard of food falls short, please do inform the restaurant manager, or you can always contact the Customer Services team on 08705 244622.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 4. I was listening to music the other morning and enjoyed what I heard. I would like to know how to find out the playlist of music from that station.

Music is played in some McDonald’s restaurants in order to enhance the customer experience whilst eating in the restaurant. An external company supplies the music, which is chosen. With regards to playlists, the company sticks to a range of new and recent chart music. The music is then piped into the restaurants via a satellite system.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 5. Why can't you get a decaffeinated coffee (or tea) at McDonalds? I drink it for medicinal purposes (doctor’s orders) and am sure I am not alone. I have tried at various McD's to no avail. If other establishments didn't have the demand, they wouldn't sell it, but they do!

Thank you for your question. At present McDonald’s has tea and a number of Coffee options on its UK menu. Currently McDonald’s UK has no plans to introduce Decaffeinated Coffee. McDonald's French fries are cooked in a non-hydrogenated vegetable oil that is a blend of High Oleic Sunflower Oil, High Oleic Rapeseed Oil and standard Rapeseed Oil. Additionally McDonald’s UK delivery fleet is run on 100 percent bio diesel that's made from recycling its used cooking oil.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 7. Why are vegetable deluxe burgers not suitable for vegetarians? Does that not defeat the object of offering a vegetable burger? This now means that you only offer 1 vegetarian meal. Do you think this is right?

All ingredients in the Vegetable Deluxe are suitable for vegetarians (i.e. contain no ingredients of animal origin). The vegetable patty is cooked in a dedicated vat using a non hydrogenated blend of rapeseed and sunflower oil (which is suitable for vegetarians). However, due to the design of the oil filtration system there is a small chance the oil used to fry vegetable patties can come in contact with oil used to cook chicken and fish products during the oil filtering process. We therefore cannot guarantee cross-contamination will not occur. McDonald's French Fries have been officially accredited by the Vegetarian Society. This is because they are cooked in dedicated frying vats, with a completely separate filtering unit.

I work in a mcdonalds, and recently we have got a new store manager, and he has decided that all staff no matter the length of their shift, are to have an hour break. Obviously most people work 6 to 9 hour shifts so should only have a 45 minute break according to our handbooks. Can he forces us to take longer breaks? We are not a franchise store Thanks

You have not properly given any adequate responses in other questions about breakfast times Why cannot McDonald's finish the breakfast menu at 11am giving customers an extra 30 minutes for breakfast? It is quite ludicrous to be having bigmacs or chicken sandwiches at 10.30 in the morning, a time when most consider to be a breakfast time. 5/8/2010

McDonald's uses the same grills for both its main menu and the breakfast menu, so it is not possible to have both menus running at the same time. The sausage and beef patties cook at different temperatures and times, and therefore the grill settings need changing and thorough cleaning. As a result the main menu cannot be served until the breakfast menu finishes at 10.30am.

This is the UK and primarily a C of E country, when I go to Egypt I don't get non Halal meat or even Pork so why should we as a nation have to cater for your religious choices, I don't moan when I go away and can't get the food I like, your either British or your not. I don't understand why as a nation we are expected to cater for every denomination in the world who else does that for the British, no one!!!

McDonald's does not offer Halal certified food in the UK and has no current plans to do so.
