What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 32. Have asked before but received no response, when is McDonald's going to put Pokemon characters in its Happymeals? I've looked at the US and Australian websites, which incidentally, have a lot more information on them, and those countries have them. What about us? So many people like Pokemon here too. Thanks for your question. None of our food is certified as Halal. The issue of Halal food items on the McDonald's menu is a complex one, with both sides of the debate raising passionate and important issues. It goes without saying that customers are very important to the company, and McDonald's works hard to accommodate them all as best as it possibly can. McDonald’s UK has no current plans to introduce Halal food to the menu at any McDonald’s restaurant. (August 2011)

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 36. Hi I was wondering if you could help, as a local under 14's rugby club, we are looking for sponsorship or sports equipment from local companies. Everybody we have approached seems to only support football teams. Kind Regards Chris Gill
-
Thank you for your question regarding the possibility of McDonald's being involved with potential sponsorship of your rugby club.
McDonald's UK are already committed to providing more opportunities for children and adults alike, to participate and receive qualified football coaching across the UK.
These opportunities are provided through the McDonald's Community Partnerships with the four UK Football Associations, which help to fund the creation of newly qualified volunteer football coaches as well as the provision of curriculum time coaching and fun football festivals throughout the year.
I'm afraid that we are unable to undertake other sponsorship initiatives as the UK football coaching programmes, which have seen over 20,000 new coaches qualify to date and over 1 million children receive better qualified football coaching, account for all of our sports sponsorship activation.
Please let me take this opportunity to thank you for your interest and enthusiasm in the McDonald's sports programme and to wish you all the best with the team. (July 2011)

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 37. im so glad there is no halal in macdonalds, because it is a very barbaric way to treat our animals, the scottish society for the prevention of cruelty to animals want to ban this halal procedure. So if the muslim demand was high would you go against all our animal principles and sell it? because that would be lowering your own ethical standards for greed.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 38. I would just like to know what oil is used in the cooking of your fries and nuggets in UK stores. The whole family enjoys the treat of a visit to the golden arches, but one of my daughters tend to get a badly upset stomach within hours. It's less severe after a burger, so i just want to know what exactly is in the oil or blend of oils you use. Thank you
-
Thank you for your question. The cooking oil used in McDonald's UK restaurants is a non-hydrogenated vegetable oil that is a blend of High Oleic Sunflower Oil, High Oleic Rapeseed Oil and standard Rapeseed Oil, which is suitable for vegetarians. For a full list of ingredients for all McDonald’s UK menu items please visit the ‘Food’ section at www.mcdonalds.co.uk (July 2011)

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 39. Can you please tell me what it the lowest calorie meal I can order from your menu please?
-
Thank you for your question. Our menu is designed to help you make informed choices about your food. You can find nutrition information on the reverse of our trayliners or by visiting our website www.mcdonalds.co.uk and selecting Nutrition and Ingredients in the Food section. For all our Extra Value Meals you can order a side salad instead of a medium fries at no extra cost. A meal which provides lower calories could be a Filet-O-Fish with a Garden Side Salad, Balsamic Dressing and Mineral Water. At 380 kcal this provides 19% of the Guideline Daily Amount (GDA) for an average woman. Alternatively order one of our Grilled Chicken Salad Wraps with a Garden Side Salad, Balsamic Dressing and Mineral Water. This will provide 400 kcal and be 20% GDA for an average woman. An even lower energy meal would be provided by choosing one of our salads. A Grilled Chicken Salad with Balsamic Dressing and a Mineral Water will provide 135 kcal and be just under 7% GDA for an average woman. Try using our nutrition counter on our website to work out what other meal choices would be. (July 2011)
