1. Do you include mild jalapenos with your Bic Macs etc.?
No we don't. A Big Mac in the UK consists of two 100% beef patties with lettuce, onions, pickles, cheese and our unbeatable Big Mac sauce - all in a sesame seed bun. (July 2011)

3. Hi, Im an architectural masters student looking into food miles for not just McDonald's but other food institutes as well. If you broke down say a big mac does all the ingredients come from the Uk. If not would you be able to tell me where the ingredients come from? europe, america etc Thank you for your time david
Thank you for your question. The two beef patties for the Big Mac® are 100% British and Irish beef, supplied by our beef patty supplier in Scunthorpe. The Bun used for the Big Mac® is baked by one of our bakery product suppliers in Heywood near Manchester or Banbury, Oxfordshire. Our Big Mac® sauce is made by one of our sauce suppliers in Lancashire, and the cheese slice is made by a supplier in Coleraine, Northern Ireland. The dill pickles are sourced from Turkey and the onions are from the United States. Finally, the shredded iceberg lettuce is predominantly sourced from the UK in the spring and summer months, and Spain in the autumn and winter months. However, there is also a small percentage from Holland, Morocco and France. You can find out more about McDonald’s food at www.mcdonalds.co.uk and then clicking on the ‘Food’ tab. (January 2011)

4. Regarding McDonalds answer to their burgers looking grey, McDonalds states "we" may be cooking our beef patties for a different amount of time than their carefully monitored and precise temperature and time. If this is the case, how come my boyfriend got a nasty case of food poisoning last night after having a few bites of raw "meat" on his quarter pounder cooked by McD's trained pros? I have pics of the horribly undercooked mystery meat and disturbing video of a night of violent vomiting...

5. how do you make your bigmac burgers soooo delicious
McDonald’s is pleased to hear that you are enjoying the Big Mac so much. The Big Mac uses two 100% beef patties made from whole cuts of forequarter and flank (similar to the mince you'd buy in the supermarket). All that's added is a pinch of salt and pepper after cooking. Many customers feel that aside from the two patties, cheese, lettuce, onions and pickles - the part which makes the Big Mac extra special is the Big Mac sauce. The exact composition for the Big Mac sauce is a well-kept secret however you can find all ingredients for this burger and other UK menu items at www.mcdonalds.co.uk. (September 2009)
