- 1. wat sort of chicken is in the nuggets as it cant be real chicken breast wat part of the body does it come from n wat part of the body is the pork in the deli
-
The only meat used in McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets is carefully deboned chicken breast. There are no extra nasty bits. Once made, they are coated with a specially seasoned batter. Originally the Chicken McNuggets were made from both dark and white meat. The dark meat consisted of the thighs, skin and drumstick as well as the breast, the same composition as if you were to have a roast chicken for a meal at home. However, after extensive research and feedback from customers, it was clear that they only wanted 100 percent breast meat in the nuggets, and McDonald's have been doing so since. If you would like to reassure yourself about how the Chicken McNuggets are made then take a look at the recent independent Quality Scout report. Just click on the 'Quality Scout' link on this site to find out more. In the case of the pork, McDonald’s uses prime cuts of trimmed, cured and sliced pork belly for its pork food items.

-
Chicken McNuggets are made from deboned chicken breast meat, which is then minced. A flavoured marinade is then added and mixed in. The minced chicken meat is shaped into McNuggets and coated with the specially seasoned batter, flash fried and frozen. The McNuggets are supplied to the restaurants frozen, and then cooked from frozen in a new non-hydrogenated blend of sunflower and rapeseed oil.

-
There is nothing in the ingredient list that should account for ‘bright pink stuff’. McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets are made with chicken (45%), coating (hydrogenated vegetable oil, wheat flour, maize flour, raising agents (E450 disodium diphosphate, E500 sodium bicarbonate, E341 monocalcium phosphate)), dried egg albumen, pepper, salt, wheat starch, whey powder, ground celery, favour enhancer (E508 potassium chloride), vegetable oil), water, natural flavouring, flavour enhancer (E508 potassium chloride), potato starch, vegetable oil. Unfortunately, without seeing the nugget in question, McDonald’s is unable to say what it is. If you do see this in the future, please hand the product back to the restaurant manager. You will get a refund, and then they will send it to the supplier for investigation.

Well, to make your own nuggets should not be too difficult. However, there are a few things you need to get right. Like McDonald's, you have to source the best ingredients that you can find. You also need careful preparation and attention to detail. Get all this right, and you are on your way to making some tasty nuggets. For a good insight to McDonald's Chicken McNuggets, check out the Quality Scouts page on this site, and click on 'Charlotte Haile'. Charlotte is an Independent Quality Scout who went behind the scenes to find out the exact process of how McDonald's Chicken McNuggets are made. You can read and watch her interviews and reports, and you may get some tips on making your own nuggets.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 8. Do you seriously think that this way of preparing chicken is preferable to 'real' chicken? Have we moved so far from decent normal farming practices? 4 shapes of nugget? What's wrong with 'chicken leg' or 'chicken wing'?
-
Chicken McNuggets are 'real' chicken. The only reason why they're shaped as Nuggets rather than chicken breast is that this is how they have been traditionally shaped since the 1950s and many customers, including a lot of children, enjoy them that way. The chicken breast meat is simply minced in the same way as beef for a burger, stock is added and then they are formed into the four iconic shapes. If you would like to see and hear more about this, then please click on the 'Meet the Scouts' link and then on 'Charlotte Haile' for her Quality Scout report on a recent visit to the McNuggets' factory.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 9. I have to say i like yoour food, but when jamie oliver did that show on channel four and showed us how you made your chicken nuggets and said you added loads of chemicals and fat to them was he just lying? and trying to put you out of buniness?
-
Jamie Oliver used the term 'nugget' as a generic rather than a specific reference to McDonald's Chicken McNuggets. The chicken meat used in McDonald's McNuggets is 100 per cent chicken breast meat from chickens and the batter is made from good quality ingredients. The chicken meat is also traceable right back to the farms on which the birds were raised and the standards and procedures strictly monitored. So you can continue to enjoy McDonald's food should you choose to, safe in the knowledge that it's made from good quality ingredients and produced with thorough care and attention.

-
Nothing goes to waste. Chicken meat not used by McDonald's will be used in other capacities by other retailers. For instance, the drumsticks and chicken wings are popular barbecue items and will most likely end up in supermarkets.
