- 1. are the meat products and vegetarian products fried/grilled in the same frier/oven?
-
The beef patties are cooked, without added fat or oil, between hot plates that cook the patties from both sides - a similar cooking process to the grilling machines that are sold in a variety of kitchenware stores. The Filet-o-Fish, French Fries, Apple Pies and the Veggie Deluxe are cooked in a new non-hydrogenated blend of sunflower and rapeseed oil in separate cooking fryers. The fryers are exclusively for cooking a specific product, and that product alone.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 4. regarding the way all your vegatarian food is prepared, can you guaretee that it is cooked separettley in vegatble oil, & handled separetley? Also, are your fries fried separetely? Do you recycle the oil that you use? are your milkshales suitabel for vegatrians? many thanks Mr.I.Khan
-
Absolutely. All the vegetarian items, the French Fries, the Hash Browns, the Apple Pie, the Veggie Deluxe and promotional items such as the Onion Rings are cooked in a new non- hydrogenated blend of sunflower and rapeseed oil. They are cooked in their own vats and well away from the meat products. Restaurants constantly check the oil with hand-held digital monitors that indicate when it needs to be changed. This will vary depending on the level of business in the restaurant. The vats are cleaned every night as part of the detailed cleaning routine, and the cooking oil used is filtered every day. All the milkshakes are suitable for vegetarian consumption. (May 2007)

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 5. The last couple of Veggie Deluxes I have eaten at two different outlets have tasted totally different from previous ones. They are not as delicious as ones I have eaten before. I will not be buying them again as a result. Can you confirm what the change is in the recipe and why?
-
Firstly apologies for the delay in answering your question, the team has been very busy with all the questions that are pouring in and everybody is working hard to answer them all. Thank you for your question. However, the Fruit Bags available in the UK are not served with caramel sauce. McDonald's is disappointed to hear that you will not be purchasing the Veggie Deluxe anymore. The Veggie Deluxe has a small but strong following and there should be no reason why your Veggie Deluxe should be tasty time after time. However, there has been a slight change in the recipe. McDonald's is always reviewing its menu food items and recipes, and as such, a new spicy veggie patty was developed for use in the Spicy Veggie Deli Sandwich. Finding success, McDonald's thought that this new patty would be great in replacing the old deluxe patty, switching things up a little and providing a different choice, and unfortunately you are not enjoying this new taste. McDonald's encourages its customers to tell the company what they are thinking, so why not contact the Customer Service Team via email by logging on to www.mcdonalds.co.uk and clicking on the Contact Us link, and let them know what you think of the Veggie Deluxe.

-
There is no complete list available detailing which restaurants have the Veggie Deluxe on the menu because they take the decision to serve it at a local level. However, if you use the ‘Restaurant Locator’ at www.mcdonalds.co.uk you can find full contact details for all the restaurants near you, to give them a call and find out if the sandwiches are available on the menu.
