1. Is there bird flu?

McDonald's first priority is always the health and safety of customers and employees. The company's food safety policy ensures total commitment to safety, quality and animal welfare across the entire supply chain. All McDonald's chicken and egg products in Europe are safe to eat – and are properly cooked to a sufficiently high temperature, in line with the company's stringent food safety. The UK Food Standards Agency has said that avian flu does not pose a food safety risk for UK customers.
