- 1. why is it my wife can not order a simple salad roll it was suggested to do a cheeseburger without the burger all she got was cheese and sauce this has happened in more than one restaurant and other restaurants don’t no how to do?

Thank you for your question. McDonald's is sorry about the inconvenience you describe. Restaurant staff should always try to accommodate individual grill orders, however grill orders such as yours are usually granted at the discretion of the restaurant manager. In addition if a restaurant is particularly busy this may not be possible, but please ask a member a staff or the restaurant manager.

I like just the meat, nothing else on it, yet your employeers do not seem to understand this concept. One time I even repeated myself four times (the receipt said four times, PLAIN hamburger) yet it still had cheese! Is this some sort of conspiracy?

McDonald's apologises for the fact that your keep receiving an incorrect order. There is no reason why this should be the case; and certainly no conspiracy.
The staff are trained to repeat your order back to you to ensure that this does not happen. Your request for bespoke hamburger is a grill order and this information should be relayed to the manager who in turn tells the kitchen staff.
If this keeps happening, especially if in a specific restaurant, please let the Customer Services team know on 08705 244622 and they will look into the matter on your behalf. (June 2007)
