What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 2. Recently me and my freind went into the McDonalds in Moons Mount in Reddich. We only had enough for a single McFlurry. We asked about having two straws so we could share, but were flatly refused because we were told that if you eat in, you aren't allowed to share. What's wrong with two girls and one cup?

McDonald's is sorry to hear about your disappointing experience at one of its restaurants. The Company prides itself on the quality of its customer service, and there should be absolutely no reason why you should have received such a poor service. Please get in touch with the Customer Services Team immediately on 08705 244 622, or you can email by using the 'Contact Us' link on www.mcdonalds.co.uk, and the team can investigate your matter further. What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 3. As a follow up to my earlier question, the answer that you directed me to does not answer the question. The "contact us" page on your website does not provide an email address to email complaints to, or have any system to allow email complaints. Please could you therefore let me have an email address for complaints. I don't want to send a letter or do it by phone.
-
Firstly apologies for the delay in answering your question, the team has been very busy with all the questions that are pouring in and everybody is working hard to answer them all.
The email address for the Customer Services Team can be found at the bottom of the 'Contact Us' section of www.mcdonalds.co.uk. In answer to your question it is - customerservices@mcdonalds.co.uk.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 4. Do you outline any of your policies anywhere? If so where. It is otherwise quite a lengthy process to trawling through Q&A's for information.
-
Thanks for your question; in order to give you the best possible answer please resend your question with a little more information. McDonald's have slightly different policies depending on the matter at hand. So please post again so that we can be more accurate with your answer.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 5. We visited the Camberley drive in this evening. We are vegetarians and were told that there is no vegetarian food after 8pm !! This really is unacceptable in the year 2007 - please can you explain this . The 'restaurant' was empty. I look forward to your reply - thanks
-
Sorry about this. In some restaurants, McDonald's offers a limited menu during later hours, and therefore prepares only food items that appeal to the majority of customers. The product in question is available as part of the main menu and is served from 10.30am until 8pm at participating restaurants. But there is some good news. You may be interested to know that McDonald’s has recently reinstated the Vegetable Deluxe in order to meet the demands of customers. This product will be available at participating restaurants whilst stocks last.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 6. when did you first introduce the chip and pin payment service? and how is it going?
-
The 'cashless' payment service was first introduced at McDonald’s during 2007, with over 1000 restaurant installations occurring between March and June. Cashless functionality has been a welcome addition to the restaurants, offering customers even more payment flexibility. The service is now used by approximately 10% of customers and this is expected to grow even higher during 2009.

Additionally, how can it be right to have food snatched from your hand because one server says her customer had been waiting for it longer than you? The manager wasn't interested in hearing complaints (Leeds Briggate outlet)

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 9. I was wondering why none of your staff ever smile? That and every time I order something that isn't ready I just get glared at. Why is this? I am vegetarian and as you have VERY limited options for vegetarians I have no choice but to order things that are not prepared! Plus I heard a rumor that your milkshakes contain chicken fat from cooking the McNuggets - is this true??!!
-
McDonald’s is sorry to hear your experiences with the staff. McDonald’s feels that staff attitude is important in a customer services environment, and takes pride in having excellent employees. For over a year and a half the ‘Hire the Smile’ employee recruitment programme has been in place which involves two interviews for each job candidate, and an on-job assessment that looks at staff attitude and customer service skills. On this occasion it seems that you haven’t experienced the great service that you come to expect from McDonald’s. In the unlikely event this happens again please either talk to the restaurant manager or call Customer Services on 08705 244622 so that this can be fully investigated. With regards to vegetarian options, McDonald's works hard to accommodate them all its customers as best as it possibly can, including vegetarians. Currently, McDonald’s believes it offers a good variety of food items that are suitable for vegetarians, including the French Fries, Vegetable Deluxe burger (where available), the Toasted Deli Spicy Veggie Sandwich and the Garden Side Salad and the Milkshakes. There are also snack options such as the Fruit Bag and Carrot Sticks. However the company recognises there is always room for improvement and in view of this suggests you should get in touch with the Customer Services Team to log your enthusiasm for more vegetarian options using the aforementioned contact details. If you would like to find out more about the ingredients of other McDonald's products, please go to the ‘Ingredient List’ that is in the ‘Eat Smart’ section at www.mcdonalds.co.uk.

-
Sandwiches should not be kept for longer than ten minutes, after which time they should be discarded, and fresh orders will be prepared. If you receive food that is not up to the high standards set by McDonald's, please bring it to the attention of the restaurant manager who will arrange for a fresh order to be prepared for you.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 11. Why was I refused a free coffee top up in you Southport resturaunt. I thought it was McDonalds policy rather than the decision of the penny pintching franchise ?
-
Supplying free coffee refills is at the discretion of individual restaurant managers, and is not currently a company policy. McDonald’s do however have a coffee loyalty scheme on the coffee cups where you can receive one free coffee once you’ve purchased six.

-
With approximately two million people visiting McDonald’s UK restaurants everyday, it is quite possible that Steve Brookstein made a visit to one of the restaurants. However, McDonald's has no way of verifying this.

-
As he is a fictional character it is highly unlikely that Dr Who visits McDonald's. However, if he did, as a scientist with two hearts, McDonald’s believe the Doctor would applaud the fact that McDonald's UK has reduced the salt in its fries by 24%

As the recommendation of "Q10"in "questions answered", I asked one of the workers of the McDonalds' restaurants in Saudi Arabia,Riyadh to serve me the burger without the bread,as I was diagnosed of having celiac disease last year, and just can't rid of McDonald's but they did not serve it and said it was not allowed...so what shall I do?
-
This web site is only set up to deal with issues relating to McDonald's UK. McDonald's hopes that restaurants will honour your request, but this is very much a local decision at the discretion of the restaurant manager.
