1. Why do most branches offer coffee top ups but others refuse saying they've never done them? One of the good things about McDonalds has always been their consistency of quality and service where ever we travel and we travel a lot in our business and visit a lot of McDonalds please let's have the same top ups at All branches :0)
Thank you for your question. McDonald’s Free Coffee refill initiative is currently not a company policy but is at the discretion of individual restaurant managers. McDonald's does, however, have a coffee scheme on the coffee cups whereby you receive one free coffee once you've purchased six. (March 2009)

2. Why on the till at McDonalds when you buy a breakfast it says your drink is a medium drink but I only ever get a small drink. (Soft drinks I am talking about)?
Thank you for your question. This appears to be an isolated case; if a customer purchases a drink and specifies the size then they should receive that sized drink. If they purchase a set breakfast meal and request an alternative drink to the hot beverage, this should be the medium sized carbonated drink or Milkshake. If this continues to happen please talk to the store manager at the restaurant in question or call Customer Services on 08705 244 622. (Feb 2009)
