What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 203. Hi! I m employee of McDonald's. I got employee discount card. But last week i brought one Bigmac medium Meal from totenham hill Mcdonalds. They did't give me any discount. I have shown my discountcard to them. But Manager told me they don't provide any discount. But why Mcdonald's gave me this discount card. could u plz tell me what is the reason. That's my complain to u.
-
Sorry to hear of your disappointment with your Employee Discount Card. You may not be aware but some McDonald’s restaurant franchisees don't sign up for the Employee Discount Card or accept the card in their restaurants - however this is a small minority. It is not mandatory for a franchisee to sign up to the scheme so please check with the restaurant manager first.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 205. i work for mcdonalds and was wondering if a restaurant is closed because of an accident or something and the store manager tells you not to come in because the store will be shut, are we entitled to being paid for the shift we missed as we missed out on work on no fault of our own. Our Business manager said we wouldnt get paid but this seems unfair and just another of the millions of ways employed to save on labour.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 208. whats the role of a customer care and how different is it from a crew member?
-
Thanks for your interest in McDonald’s. Generally speaking a Crew Member has a great deal of variety and scope in their role, with three main areas of responsibility – Customer Service, food preparation, and cleanliness and hygiene. The daily duties of a Crew Member will revolve around all these charges. In comparison, a Customer Care Assistant acts as the face of the restaurant, ensuring that the customers are always made to feel both happy and welcome during their visit. The ability to communicate positively with customers is essential for this role. For a more thorough breakdown of what these roles involve, please go to www.mcdonalds.co.uk and visit the ‘Careers’ section. Here you can find in depth descriptions about the Company and roles, as well as search for vacancies in your area and apply online. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to get in contact the Central Recruitment Team on 0208 700 7007.

-
The best course of action is for you to contact the Payroll Helpline on 0208 700 7277, they are able to provide references for any employee who worked in a company owned restaurant. However if the person worked for one of the franchisees then they will need to be contacted directly as the payroll department will not hold records of the franchisees employees
