91. Do you do Term Time only contracts for working mum's
One of the great benefits of working at McDonald’s is the flexible hours staff can work. Although McDonald’s do not do a term time specific contract, there is every chance that a restaurant may be able to accommodate your shifts with your personal situation. The best course of action is to speak to the manager at your local restaurant about your availability and whether positions are available. If you decide to apply for a position, the next step is to visit the ‘Careers’ section at www.mcdonalds.co.uk where you can apply for any of the roles at McDonald’s. (August 2008)

92. How much does McDonalds pay per hour? I am guessing minimum wage!
All McDonald's UK rates of pay are reviewed each year in light of external market competitiveness, internal comparability and National Minimum Wage legislation. Like many other retailers, McDonald's pays a lower starting rate to crew members aged under 18. For 16 - 17 year olds working in McDonald's company owned restaurants, employees start on £4.25. 18 - 21 year olds in company owned restaurants start on £4.65 and 22 years and above start on £5.55. The pay rates may vary in franchised restaurants. Currently less than 17 percent of hourly paid employees are on national minimum wage. All hourly paid employees are appraised after their first three weeks, four months, six months and then annually. If they have been found to be hard working and enthusiastic staff members, then they are awarded a pay rise accordingly. McDonald’s has also featured in the 'The Times top 100 Graduate Employers' list for the last eight years, and recently won the 'FT Best Workplaces UK' award. The company is immensely proud of the commitment and effort its staff contributes every day to great food and great customer service. (July 2008)

96. can u please tell me about performance management in mcdonalds
Thank you for your question and apologies for the late reply. McDonald's believes that performance management is crucial to the success of the brand that all restaurants perform to the standards expected in three key areas: quality, service and cleanliness. These standards are used to maintain the brand in both company-owned and franchised restaurants. All restaurants are supervised by an Area Consultant who will complete the company audit programme in full every six months in addition to weekly visits to check standards and customer experience. If a manager of either a company-owned or franchised restaurant was found to be consistently underperforming then appropriate measures would be taken to rectify this situation. This is done through the Performance Management process and retraining. McDonald's also uses Mystery Shoppers to check on performance across the UK, handled by an external agency. (August 2007)
