2. Has any of the government's incentives that has affected mcdonald's in anyway?
Thank you for your question. It is unclear to which government incentives you are referring to but one that springs to mind is the government's decision to lower VAT from 17.5% to 15%. McDonald’s have passed on all the savings from the VAT cut to our customers in the way in which we think will offer the best value. McDonald’s have done this by concentrating it on some of the most popular menu items like the Extra Value Meals, the Happy Meal, the Big Mac, McChicken Sandwich and Filet-O-Fish in the form of more meaningful price cuts rather than taking off a penny or two from each item on the menu.

3. What are the operations of the McDonalds corporation and also its important members in running the corporation?
Firstly apologies for the delay in answering your question, the team has been very busy with all the questions that are pouring in and everybody is working hard to answer them all. McDonalds is a business based on chains of restaurants across the world that are designed to offer well prepared, tasty food, quickly and consistently, in a family friendly environment. Within the UK, there are approximately 1200 restaurants, about half of which are owned and run directly by McDonalds, and about half of which are run by our network of franchisees. Like any other large organisation, we have a busy team of executives who are responsible for different areas of the business like supply chain, marketing and human resources. (March 09)
