Thanks for your question. At times McDonald's runs trials in a select number of restaurants to determine if a new product will perform well across the whole of the UK. However there are no secret menus. (April 2011)

Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 2. reading further into your answers and questions there is a contradiction in the filtering process procedure it has been stated that the apple pie frier is filtered at the end in one and fillet o fish fryer filtered at the end in another, the process should be standard and clear and would be great if it was the vegetarian products first then the fish and meat product is at the end. look forward to hearing from you thank you.

Thanks for your question. The correct procedure for our oil filtering process is as follows; Fries, Pies, Veggie, Chicken and Fillet-o-Fish. (March 2011)

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 3. I have gathered that many McDonalds restaurants either have, are or are going to be refurbished. My local McDonalds in Spalding isn't in a particularly bad state however is there a way of finding out when restaurants will be refurbished? Any information will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Thank you for your question. McDonald’s are pleased to hear that you like the new decors within its UK restaurants. McDonald’s plans to re-image restaurant number 940 in Spalding sometime throughout 2010 although this can not be confirmed at this stage.

Everybody knows that the kids love to be there, my concerns as student in design show that, you got nothing to link the children and this space, just a some time some paper to draw, children learn everywhere, even in a restaurant. the designer did a great job ,nice choice of colour, but it's naked for the kid’s. I have some ideas?

Thank you for your interesting feedback regarding McDonald’s new restaurant designs. McDonald's has been pro-active in researching what customers want to see in its restaurants. Findings revealed that they felt the interior of McDonald’s restaurants needed a facelift, and the company agreed. The décor has been designed from McDonald’s in-house design studio, which is based in Paris. These designs are bespoke to McDonald's and are intended to provide a comfortable, enjoyable and inspiring interior for customers to enjoy.

McDonald's is unable to give out this information, sorry. However, the exterior furniture and accessories are different for most of McDonald's restaurants and come as part of a package from the construction department.
