- 1. I understand you have 2 filtration processes. Can you tell me if on the second system when you say the machine is cleaned after 'each session' - are you referring to filtering the fries, vegi burger, chicken and fish oil one after another as a 'session', or are you saying that you clean the filter machine after filtering the fries oil. Then you filter the veggi burger oil and then clean the machine again, and so on. Basically, can you tell me what 'each session' is
-
Thanks for your question. All stores filter vats in the same order with all vats being cleaned in sequence. This must be done at least once a day.
Stores filter vats in the following order - Fries, Pies, Veggie, Chicken, and Filet. The unit is then cleaned before being used again.

As much as I enjoy your burgers and happy meals for my kids their is no complaint...but its the bloody music they play it damm loud and crap...we have to eat upstairs...and its still on upstairs...someone said digestion is good for the soul...but please tell the staff to stop playing loud music or I will eat elsewhere
-
Music is played in some McDonald’s restaurants in order to enhance the customer experience whilst eating in the restaurant. An external company who automatically vet for things like profanity or adult themes supplies the music, which is chosen. With regards to playlists, the company sticks to a range of new and recent chart music. The music is then piped into the restaurants via a satellite system. If you are ever unhappy with the volume of the music being played inside a McDonald’s restaurant then please raise this with the restaurant manager.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 7. Why is the floor so sticky all the time?
-
Firstly apologies for the delay in answering your question, the team has been very busy with all the questions that are pouring in and everybody is working hard to answer them all.
Cleanliness is very important to McDonald's, and the company prides itself on high standards. Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in McDonald’s restaurants is a top priority, with staff operating a ‘clean-as-you-go’ procedure, by which floors and surfaces are cleaned throughout the day as required.
Once the restaurant has closed there is also a more detailed cleaning of not only the floors, but also the tables, chairs, toilets, surfaces and kitchen equipment.
Manager’s also have checklists as part of their daily tasks to ensure everything is kept clean and in good condition.
If you regularly have had experiences in McDonald’s restaurants that do not reflect these high standards, then please speak to the restaurant manager or call the Customer Services Team on 08705 244 622 so that your concerns can be investigated.

-
Walt Disney films aside, many factors have to be taken into account to provide a delivery service. For example, the length of time taken for the staff to reach their destinations while ensuring hot fresh food. As a company, McDonald's feels that it could not adequately meet these goals at the present time.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 10. does mcdonalds offer home delivery in the UK?
-
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately no, here in the UK a delivery service is something which McDonald’s has considered and indeed trialled in a number of locations. In order to successfully implement a McDonald’s delivery service many factors have to be taken into account. For example the length of time taken for the staff to reach their destinations to ensure hot, fresh food in the quickest time and our responsibility as an employer to ensure that we do not compromise the safety of our employees. At this time we feel that by providing such a service we cannot guarantee the safety and well being of our employees or adequately meet our quality commitment to deliver hot, freshly prepared food every time to off-site locations. We have therefore taken the view not to pursue a delivery service policy at this present time.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 11. In your wifi enabled restaurants do you wave to pay for the wifi access? If you don't have to pay do you have to buy anything? If you have to buy something, what's the minimum I could spend to get wifi access for, say, 5-10 minutes?
-
Firstly, many apologies for the very slow response to your question, as the site went through a few changes, some questions had slipped through the net, so thank you for your patience. The free WiFi service is available for all McDonald's customers, it is free to access for an unlimited time period. It is left to the discretion of the restaurant manager if an individual is using the service without purchasing an item.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 12. What regulations do you have concerning first aid at your restaurants? How many of your staff are trained in first aid? How many would know what to do in the even of someone choking, getting burned, or collapsing? Do you have any defibrilators in your restaurants?
-
All Shift Managers in McDonald's are required to complete an approved 'First Aid at Work' training course as part of their management training, followed by refresher courses every three years. This ensures that there is at least one trained first aider on duty at all times in every McDonald's restaurant throughout the UK. This means that McDonald's has approximately 6000 trained first aiders. Each of these individuals are trained to provide first aid treatment for a wide range of injuries and illnesses. The company checks the provision of first aid equipment and the training of its first aiders as part of the regular health and safety checks completed on every McDonald's restaurant but this does not include the provision of defibrillators.
