1. Is McDonalds a member of any trade associations, such as the Food And Drink Fed., and the British Hospitality Association? Does Mcdonalds subscribe to any voluntary codes of conduct in relation to nutritional labelling or industry best practice advice?
Thank you for your question. McDonald's is a member of a number of trade and charity organisations, such as the British Hospitality Association (BHA), British Retail Consortium (BRC), and the British Nutrition Foundation (BNF). We also work closely with Government departments, such as the Food Standards Agency (FSA) and Department of Health (DoH). You may also like to know that our nutrition labelling is based on Guideline Daily Amounts (GDA's). (Dec 08)
