McDonald’s works hard to promote the benefits of having a balanced and healthy diet and an active lifestyle. However it is not for McDonald’s to tell people what to eat. The menu is constantly reviewed so that it gives its customers as many options as possible. There are a number of different menu items available, all with varying calorie contents. Along with this, nutrition information is available on the tray liners in store, and in the 'Food' section of www.mcdonalds.co.uk where you can find the nutrition breakdown for all products on the menu. Thanks for your question. McDonald's believes that its food is of good quality, made from quality ingredients. Many nutritionists say that individual food items cannot be 'healthy' or 'unhealthy' on their own, it is simply down to the individual to enjoy food in moderation as part of a varied, balanced diet combined with frequent physical activity. To this end, McDonald's believes that its food can be enjoyed responsibly by anybody as part of a balanced lifestyle, as all its food is made from similar ingredients to those available in supermarkets or at home. If you would like a more thorough breakdown of all the nutritional information in McDonald’s food, then please visit our website www.mcdonalds.co.uk and select the Food pages.
