1. Why are the milk portions for tea/coffee not kept in chilled containers when put out for customers, especially as they are now of the fresh, not UHT, type?
The milk portions are stored in a refrigerated environment and only kept at room temperature for a maximum of four hours. This should not affect the freshness of the milk.
