Thank you for your question and sorry for our slow response, this was due to some recent technical updates to the site, which resulted in a delay in answering questions.
McDonald’s hasn’t made any changes to its restaurants as a result of ‘Super Size Me’. However, the company does listen to its customers and that’s why McDonald’s UK has added many new choices to its menu over the last few years such as the introduction of salads and Toasted Deli Sandwiches.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 2. The documentry DVD " Super Size Me " ( I'm sure you've heard of it !!! ) in the bonus section has a part called " The Smoking Fry " in which McDonalds fries allegedly sit for 10 weeks in a jar with no sign of decay / decompostion. Now i'm no expert but i'm certain most food should show some form of deterioration in that timescale, so why didn't your fries ???
-
McDonald’s French Fries are made in a similar way to the french fries you would eat in a restaurant or buy in your local supermarket. The French Fries are also made of exactly the thing you would expect, potato. Therefore a McDonald’s French Fry should react to being left like this in the same way as any other - it will decompose.
DECEMBER '07 UPDATE: McDonald's French Fries are now fully accredited by the Vegetarian Society. (December 2007)

-
The film Super Size Me was made by Morgan Spurlock, not by McDonald's. McDonald's would not advise anybody to follow the extreme diet that was shown in the film. It was a one-dimensional diet that consisted of over 5,000 calories a day and was devoid of any variation or regular physical activity.
McDonald's has no current plans for a home delivery service.

McDonald's believes in free speech and Morgan Spurlock is entitled to his opinions but they are not shared by the company.

-
The diet followed in ‘Super Size Me’ was a one-dimensional diet of over 5,000 calories a day – that's twice the recommended amount for adult males. In addition to that, Morgan Spurlock also went from being a highly active individual, to intentionally stopping all physical activity. The essence of a good diet is based on balance, variety, moderation and physical activity. McDonald's recognises this relationship and stresses that importance in customer literature available in all restaurants - enabling the customer to make an informed choice about individual meals in relation to their whole diet.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 7. what do you think about the film 'supersize me' exposing you?
-
McDonald's doesn’t see ‘Supersize Me’ as an exposé but more as a personal experiment by the film maker in eating too much and doing far too little exercise.

-
This is a difficult question for a company to answer. In the UK, McDonald's and its franchisees employ around 67,000 people. Many of these people have seen the film and no doubt have a range of different opinions, both positive and negative.

-
McDonald’s sees the film ‘Super Size Me’ as a personal experiment by a filmmaker, based on eating too much while doing far too little exercise. Of course, films like this can affect peoples’ perceptions of McDonald’s. But the film offered just one side of the argument and McDonald’s believes that people have the right to make up their own mind based on the facts. And this web site has been set up to give people a place to ask questions that they might have about McDonald’s, so that they can make an informed choice.

-
McDonald’s is not aware of the ‘Spurlock McGurgles’ as being a specific phenomenon. Everyone has a different digestive rate and can be affected in different ways by the things that they eat.

-
McDonald’s has no knowledge of the TV programme that you’re referring to. It is certainly true that one director, Morgan Spurlock, in his film Super Size Me decided to change his normal active lifestyle to an extreme diet that exceeded 5000 calories per day – twice the recommended allowance for a man. But he didn’t die and McDonald’s would never condone such an extreme diet. McDonald’s products are made from the best possible ingredients and a full list of ingredients can be found on tray liners in restaurants, on packaging and online at www.mcdonaldsmenu.info There is nothing on the menu that can’t be enjoyed as part of a balanced diet.

I mean, those things have put me off McDonalds a bit, so are any of those facts true or have they been lies, and also if some are true, have you actaully made an effort to change this system in your resturants
-
McDonald’s hasn’t made any changes to its restaurants as a result of ‘Super Size Me’. The company takes the view that the film was based around an extreme diet, coupled with limited exercise. However, McDonald’s does listen to its customers and that’s why McDonald’s UK has added many new choices to its menu over the last few years such as the introduction of Toasted Deli Sandwiches.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 15. Have you (as a company) studied the documentary/film "Super Size Me" and have you learned anything from it?...
-
Some of McDonald’s employees have watched the film but neither they, nor the company, learned anything new. Morgan Spurlock chose to follow an extreme diet and limit his exercise regime: McDonald’s would not recommend that to anyone
