What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 32. I recently read and saw a e mail where they say that your meats are not made out of all beef., but from a mass that has no organs that are kept alive with machines which does not have eyes, legs, or any other parts of the body this study was made by Michigan University that the government had requested that you take the word 100 beef out. and that your reply was that beef in latin meant thing. Is all this true..........
-
No this is completely false. We can reassure you that McDonald's UK only use 100 percent beef in its beef patties, nothing but whole cuts of forequarter and flank - similar to the mince you'd buy in the supermarket. All that's added is a pinch of salt and pepper after cooking. The chicken meat used in McDonald's McNuggets is 100 per cent chicken breast meat. McDonalds Chicken Selects are made from marinated strips of carefully deboned whole muscle chicken breast meat.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 33. why are you saying ur beef is "100% beef" why do people feel sluggish and bloated afterward?? if its not fatty at all like you say, why is it greasy and why does it take so quick to make??
-
McDonald’s say this because it is true. McDonald's only uses 100 percent beef in its beef patties, which means 100 percent beef. Nothing but whole cuts of forequarter and flank - similar to the mince you'd buy in the supermarket. All that's added is a pinch of salt and pepper after cooking. The beef itself will naturally contain some fat but the level is closely monitored. The beef patties are cooked between hot plates that cook the patties from both sides - a similar cooking process to the grilling machines that are sold in a variety of kitchenware stores. Its lower cooking surface reaches 177 degrees centigrade, and the top plate reaches 218 degrees centigrade. The clamshell design allows for the burger patty to cook evenly and quickly from both sides. With regards to feeling bloated, everybody has different eating habits, appetites and digestion rates, so it's possible that some people may feel bloated after eating McDonald's food, and some may not be quite as full afterwards, but it would be unfair to blame McDonald's as this could be true of other foods in their diet. McDonald's takes great pride in the food that it provides, and there is nothing in it that should make a person feel uncomfortable in any way.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 36. I was once told that there was a food poisoning problem with McDonalds food in Britain, and that the meat had faeces on it, and the response was to cook the meat for a little longer. Is this true, and if so do you not think that this method is a bit risky?
-
Whilst McDonald’s is unaware of a food poisoning problem in Britain, the company can assure you that nothing but 100 percent beef are in the burgers. There are very strict controls in place at the abattoir to ensure that there is no contamination of the meat. No meat can be used until it has passed independent veterinary inspection by staff from the Food Standards Agency. When the patties arrive at a restaurant, they're cooked on a bespoke grill, using two-sided hot plates so no extra fat is added during cooking. Its lower cooking surface reaches 177 degrees centigrade, and the top plate reaches 218 degrees centigrade, ensuring that the beef patties are cooked thoroughly. If you would like to see for yourself, you can follow the investigations of the independent Quality Scouts to see how they're made – they're members of the general public from around the UK who are curious about McDonald's business and its food. They're not paid, and have no ties to the company. They take an honest, behind the scenes look at McDonald's and report back exactly what they see and hear. Just click on the 'Quality Scout' link on this site to find out more.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 38. I heard you use mudkips in your beef burgers. Is this true and if you do do you like it?
-
No, this is another tall story. McDonald's only uses whole cuts of forequarter and flank of 100 percent beef. McDonald's UK source nearly all the meat from farmers in the UK and Ireland. McDonald's has a policy to source the beef locally wherever possible and last year over 16,000 British and Irish farmers supplied us with beef. In times of particularly high demand the company also source from farms in the European Union. Any overseas suppliers of course meet or exceed the stringent quality standards McDonald's sets as done for those in the UK. (June 2007)

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 39. you say the is real meat in the burgers but is it the quality meat not all the offcuts ie hoofs testicles etc or is it 100% qualtily beef like steak
-
It is 100 percent beef made from whole cuts from the forequarter and flank (similar to the mince you’d buy in the supermarket). What’s more McDonald’s is able to trace exactly which farms the beef comes from, the farmers' names and how the animals were reared.
