91. If Mac Donalds only use 100% beef and good Quality foods as they clam. Are they saying a Mac Donalds burger is as good quality as say one from Harvester restaurants? If so which would be more healthy to eat?
McDonald's does not make comparisons between itself and other companies. McDonald's is very confident that the quality of its ingredients is second to none as is the attention that it pays to all aspects of the supply chain with regards to such matters as animal welfare, local sourcing and sustainability. McDonald's does not have the nutritional breakdown of Harvester's menu items nor would the company make a 'health comparison' as a matter of business etiquette. 'Health' claims need to take into consideration factors such as variation, moderation and physical exercise as well as diet. Suffice it to say that you can enjoy McDonald’s food responsibly as part of a diet that takes the above into consideration. (November 2007)

92. why is it so difficult to get a mcdonalds burger without mayo in it ,everytime i request no mayo i have to wait absolutely ages, can you not leave out the mayo when you prepare them and simply ask customer if they would like mayo ,many people i have spoken to have had same thoughts, most state they cant stand the wait time so simply order then proceed to scrape out mayo after
The McDonald's core burger product recipes have been honed and celebrated by millions of customers over the last thirty years here in the UK. Each aspect of the burger is tested to ensure that they are the perfect taste combination for the majority of the company's customers. However, there are always exceptions that prove the rule and McDonald's is sorry to hear that when you ask for a bespoke burger to be made up for you without the mayonnaise that it seems to take an age to complete. The restaurant system is set up with military precision to meet the different supply demands during each day: a burger that requires special treatment will always take a little longer to prepare. Sorry. (October 2007)

94. Is it true that you use semean to hold the burger together?
No. McDonald's burgers are formed from 100 percent beef (no additives, no preservatives) and frozen into individual burger patties before it's supplied to our restaurants. The beef patties are cooked, without added fat or oil, between hot plates that cook the patties from both sides - a similar cooking process to the grilling machines that are sold in a variety of kitchenware stores. Then they get seasoned with salt and pepper. To find out exactly what ingredients are in each McDonald's menu item, use the 'Ingredients List' which is in the 'Eat Smart' section at www.mcdonalds.co.uk. (November 2007)

95. Is it true that McDonalds use dogs to make their Hamburgers, my teacher says so.
No, this is not true. All McDonald's hamburgers are made of beef. Nothing else. Just 100 percent beef, made from whole cuts of forequarter and flank (similar to the mince you'd buy in the supermarket). All that's added is a pinch of salt and pepper after cooking. To find out more about the ingredients, log onto www.mcdonalds.co.uk and click on the 'Eat Smart' link. From there navigate to the 'Ingredients List' and click. 99. what part of the cow do you use in your burgers, what stuff goes into your chiken nuggets and what animals do you use in your foods like burgers, nuggets and other stuff
McDonald’s uses 100 percent beef. Not the whole animal, but the forequarter and flank parts, similar to the mince you’d buy in the supermarket. The company uses carefully deboned chicken breast meat in the McNuggets, McChicken Premiere and McChicken Sandwich. McDonald’s also uses prime cuts of trimmed, cured and sliced pork belly for bacon. Sausage patties are made from prime cuts of pork and lightly seasoned with herbs. And McDonald’s has recently switched from using cod to Hoki fish in its Filet-o-Fish and Fish Fingers, to protect severely depleted cod stocks. NOVEMBER 07 UPDATE: From mid November 2007, McDonald's Filet-o-Fish will be prepared using Alaskan Pollock fish, which is sourced from Marine Stewardship Council certified fisheries. Fish Fingers will continue to be made from Hoki, also sourced from Marine Stewardship Council certified fisheries.

100. Ive been asked to give a speech on fast food and i have run out of ideas. Is it true that you utilize chicken skin and excess meat parts in your burgers?
No. All McDonald's hamburgers are made of beef. Nothing else. Just 100 percent beef, made from whole cuts of forequarter and flank (the same as a good mince you'd buy in the supermarket). All McDonald's adds is a pinch of salt and pepper after cooking. Similarly, the chicken products are made with white meat chicken breast, plus the crispy coating on the outside. None of the chicken or beef products use off cuts or mechanically reclaimed parts.

104. Last time i had a Mac Donald's, I found it so discussing I vomited. I read here you only use 100% beef. You can tell me its 100% beef as much as you like, but, bleeeeekk! (sound of me being sick). so why does it taste so horrible that it induces me to vomit? or could it be some of the ingredients in the slimy greasy bun?
Sorry to hear that you feel this way. McDonald's food contains nothing that should make a healthy person ill or feel sick in any way, unless you have allergies to certain foods. All ingredients that are used are similar to those you would buy in the supermarket or use at home. 105. What exact parts of the cow are used in all McDonalds beef??
The forequarter and flank are indeed the only parts of the cow that McDonald's uses. They are the areas at the front shoulders and sides of the animal, and they provide the cuts known as neck, fore rib, breast, chuck tenderloin, shoulder, shank, prime rib and flank. You can find more information regarding all the food on the McDonald's menu at www.mcdonalds.co.uk. Just click on the 'Eat Smart' section and visit the `Our food` link.
