The company does not feel it is appropriate to tell people what and when to eat, however, like with any type of food, it is a matter of balance and moderation, combined with regular physical activity that counts towards better health and lifestyle. McDonald's believes that its food is made from quality ingredients and can be enjoyed responsibly by anybody as part of a balanced lifestyle. However if you would like to know more about the nutritional contents of McDonald’s food, then please visit the ‘Food’ section at www.mcdonalds.co.uk and select the nutrition counter page.

Thank you for your question. Each person’s diet and lifestyle is a matter of personal choice. McDonald’s would encourage you to make the best choices that are right for you and to follow a diet that includes food from all the major food groups, in line with government recommendations. McDonald’s does not believe that it is in the position to tell people what they should or should not eat. That being said, McDonald’s does put a lot of work into creating the menu with choices for everyone and in providing nutritional information so that customers can make better-informed choices. All the nutritional information can be found on the back of tray liners in McDonald’s restaurants and online in the ‘Food’ section of www.mcdonalds.co.uk.

-
McDonald’s does not believe it should be telling people what they should and should not eat. The obesity issue in the UK is both serious and complex, but one that ultimately depends on individual choice and circumstances. McDonald’s provides its customers with nutritional information, which can be found on packaging, on the back of the tray liners in restaurants, and online at www.mcdonalds.co.uk, to assist with choosing. McDonald’s also does this by offering a menu that can accommodate most tastes and dietary requirements. In addition, McDonald’s is a firm advocate of a balanced diet and an active lifestyle, both of which are proven to be effective in tackling obesity.

Everyone knows that getting decent mince from the butchers, using decent potatoes and making your own meal not only tastes better but it is more nutritional. What do you think to the theory that people are just too fat and lazy to cook their burgers and chips at home and just want to park their fat backsides onto one of your lovely comfortable plastic chairs?. What do you think that you are doing to the art of home cooking and ruining the backbone of our society in the name of profit?

The obesity issue in the UK is both serious and complex, but one that ultimately depends on individual choice and circumstances. The reality is that customers eat at McDonald’s two or three times a month on average, which means they get 97 percent of their meals elsewhere. McDonald’s provides its customers with nutritional information, which can be found on packaging, on the back of the tray liners in restaurants, and online at www.mcdonalds.co.uk. McDonald’s also offers a menu that can accommodate most tastes and dietary requirements. In addition, McDonald’s is a firm advocate of a balanced diet and an active lifestyle, both of which are proven to be effective in tackling obesity.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 23. What is your meat made from? , people tell me that McDonald’s are bad for you . i believe them a lot ... make me FAT
-
Thank you for your question. McDonald's regards diet as an individual choice. The company's objective is to ensure that its customers are offered a choice of foods with full nutritional information so that individuals can make informed decisions themselves, on what they eat as part of a healthy and balanced lifestyle. It is not the company's role to dictate what people should or shouldn't eat.
All McDonald's hamburgers are made of 100 percent beef, which means 100 percent beef. Nothing but whole cuts of forequarter and flank (similar to the mince you'd buy in the supermarket). All that's added is a pinch of salt and pepper after cooking.
In addition the only meat used across all McDonald’s chicken menu items is carefully deboned chicken breast. All the chicken used is traceable right back to the farms on which the birds were raised and the highest standards are assured with rigorous quality checks and inspections. For a full breakdown of the ingredients of all McDonald’s menu items please visit the ‘Ingredients’ section which can found under ‘Food' at www.mcdonalds.co.uk.

It is a standard Quarter Pounder with three extra Quarter Pounder patties and three extra slices of cheese. Could you tell me how many calories these burgers contain?

Wow, sounds like you have a mighty appetite. Although such a burger is not available on the McDonald’s menu, a Quarter Pounder sandwich made with four beef patties and four cheese slices would equate to 1225 (KCals), and 1275 (KCals).
