1. Hi can you tell me where all the ingredients are sourced for a cheeseburger please?
Thank you for your question. The beef patty is made using 100% British and Irish beef, supplied by our beef patty supplier in Scunthorpe. The bun used is baked by one of our bakery product suppliers in Heywood near Manchester or Banbury, Oxfordshire. The mustard is made by one of our sauce suppliers in Lancashire, whilst the Heinz ketchup is made in Belgium, and the cheese slice is made by a supplier in Coleraine, Northern Ireland. The dill pickles are sourced from Turkey and the onions are from the United States. (November 2011)

5. Hiya, Many years ago (1999 i think)you did a promotion and served Mozzarella cheeseburgers, these were delicious and i wondered if you had any plans to do another promotion with them? Also, you once did a Mega-mac and a triple cheeseburger. Any more plans for these as well? Thank you, Dillon
Thanks for your question. McDonald’s UK has never offered a Mozzarella Cheeseburger. This may have been a promotion by McDonald's in another market. There are no plans to launch the Mega-Mac, Triple Cheeseburger or Mozzarella Cheeseburger in the UK at the moment. (March 2011)

6. why are cheese burgers so greasy?
Thank you for your question. We are sorry to hear that you find the Cheeseburger greasy. We can assure you that the cooking procedure in McDonald’s restaurants uses no cooking oil or added fat. The beef patties are placed between hot plates that cook the patties evenly and quickly from both sides, a little salt and pepper is added for seasoning. Finally the cheese is added before being boxed and served. 7. I noticed that this website has stated that a McDonald's UK cheeseburger has a slice of cheddar on it. I live in the US and am confident that our cheeseburgers have a slice of American. Is this true and if so, what are the main differences between the UK and US McDonald's burgers?
Unfortunately Make Up Your Own Mind has been set up specifically to answer questions about McDonald's within the UK and it is hard for us to answer specific questions about products and promotions in other markets. To find out about McDonald’s US please visit www.mcdonalds.com. With regards to the UK, the Cheeseburger includes a slice of processed Cheddar Cheese. (March 2010)
