Thanks for your question. We are not sure why this would be the case as we haven’t used Hellmans mayonnaise for a number of years in the McChicken sandwich. Please ask the restaurant manager about this. (March 2011)

Thank you for your question. McDonald’s UK use their own special sandwich sauce in the McChicken Sandwich. This is specially made for McDonald’s and is not available in other retail outlets. In addition, the Cool Mayo used in our Chicken Legend, some of the Toasted Deli Sandwiches and the Mayo Chicken Sandwich is also made to a unique recipe for McDonald's and is not available in the supermarkets. A breakdown of the ingredients for every McDonald's food item is available in the ‘Food’ section of www.mcdonalds.co.uk in the 'Ingredients list' section.

Thank you for your question. The meat used in a McChicken Sandwich patty is carefully deboned chicken breast. However a coating is made and added which makes up the rest of the overall patty content.
