1. I am not asking for the recipe, but what herbs and spices do you add to the McDonals Sausage meat to make it taste so nice?
Firstly apologies for the delay in answering your question, the team has been very busy with all the questions that are pouring in and everybody is working hard to answer them all. Glad to hear you are enjoying the Sausage based products on the Breakfast Menu. All that is added is just the right amount of sage, pepper and salt to help give the sausage patties their distinct taste. The other ingredients are pork, dextrose, dried glucose syrup and yeast extract. Remember you can find out all the ingredients for any McDonald’s product by visiting the ‘Eat Smart’ section of www.mcdonalds.co.uk where you can find the ‘Ingredients List’. (November 2008)

2. Do your sausages contain MSG?
No. None of the food served at McDonald's contains any mono sodium glutamate (MSG). (June 2007)

McDonald’s sausages are made from prime cuts of pork, lightly seasoned with herbs. The full ingredients are: Pork (92% minimum), salt, dextrose, sage, dried glucose syrup, pepper, yeast extract.
