What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 2. I rather enjoy the Spicy Veggie Toasted Deli sandwich, what confuses me though is that when I order one I am always asked "is that the Deli or the burger?" This elusive "Spicy Veggie Burger" doesn't appear on any of your menus, so what exactly is it?
-
McDonald’s is pleased to hear you enjoy the Spicy Veggie Deli. Regarding your question, the Vegetable Deluxe is only available at restaurants where demand is high; therefore it does not appear on the menus as standard. It is a vegetarian burger made from a tasty blend of chick peas, yellow split peas, and spices such as coriander and cumin, with iceberg lettuce and sauce, all in a toasted sesame seed bun. If you would like to find out the full list of ingredients of the Vegetable Deluxe, please look in the ‘Ingredients List’ which is on the ‘Eat Smart’ section of www.mcdonalds.co.uk.

-
There is now a new and improved spicy vegetable patty used in the Veggie Deluxe sandwich. The ingredients for the patty are: Vegetables 40% (petit pois, carrot, red peppers, green beans, onions) wheat flour, water, non-hydrogenated vegetable oil, dehydrated potato, rice spices (mustard, turmeric, black pepper, cumin) modified waxy maize starch, hydrolysed vegetable protein, salt, wheat starch, potato starch, yeast, raising agents: disodium diphosphate, sodium bicarbonate. The other ingredients used to make the Veggie Deluxe burger include: one toasted bun, sandwich sauce and shredded lettuce. Full ingredient declarations for these ingredients can be found at www.mcdonalds.co.uk. The sauce does contain free range egg yolk and is therefore not suitable for vegans, but is suitable for vegetarians.
