1. In France you sell strong lager in your restaurants, now that we in the UK have more continental drinking laws can we expect to see strong lager in your UK restaurants please? I want no money for my idea.
McDonald's UK will not be serving alcohol in the foreseeable future, as the cafe culture here differs from other countries. (August 2007)

2. Why don't you sell alcohol? After a long hard day at the office, it would be great to stop at a McDonald's joint, grab a Big Mac and a bottle of Vodka. Work makes you drink. I think I am speaking for the majority of England when I say this.
This is a cultural issue - it's simply that most cafes and fast food restaurants in the UK tend not to serve alcohol, unlike their equivalents in continental Europe which are more likely to. (September 2007)

3. Bonjour ma name is Jack and I am from Francaaais! Anyway, In Fraaance I order a le Big Mac and Krononbourg beer. why this not available in England?
Thanks for your question. Overall, the menus are very similar with classics such as the Big Mac, Quarter Pounder with Cheese and the Hamburger and Cheeseburger appearing on both. However, there will be slight differences in the menus because of the countries different tastes and traditions. (September 2007)

4. why don't you sell beer? i don't want any of the other drinks because they rot my teeth

5. Why can't I get a decent pint of cider in a McDonalds? After all, I can get a burger in a Wetherspoons.
Culturally, most cafes and quick service restaurants in the UK do not serve alcohol unlike their European counterparts. It's, therefore, unlikely that McDonald's will ever offer a pint of cider. Sorry. (june 2007)

6. I travel to Spain on a regular basis and it is possible to buy lager with a meal. Will this ever be an option in the UK?

8. Your restaurants in some parts of Europe sell alcoholic beverages such as beer. How come your restaurants over here don't? It's not like you can't check a persons ID for age.
