Thanks for your question. The Big Tasty is a promotional item and we have no current plans in introduce it as a permanent item. You will be pleased to know that it is currently on sale in all restaurants. (June 2011)

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 3. Please make the Big Tasty a permanent item on the UK McDonalds menu. It is the only burger you bring out that can make me visit McDonalds on a really regular basis. Any chance of this happening?

Thank you for your question. The beef patty is made using 100% British and Irish beef, supplied by our beef patty supplier in Scunthorpe. The bun used is baked by one of our bakery product suppliers in Heywood near Manchester or Banbury, Oxfordshire. The Big Tasty sauce is made by one of our sauce suppliers in Lancashire, whilst the cheese slice is made by our cheese supplier in Coleraine, Northern Ireland. The bacon, like all our Pork products are made with British farm assured pork, and this product is made in Bodmin, Cornwall, and the onions are sourced from the United States. The tomato is processed in Wisbech, Cambs, but can be sourced from Holland, Poland, Spain, Morocco, Belgium or Italy. Finally, the square cut Batavia lettuce is predominantly sourced from the UK during the lettuce growing season, and predominantly from Spain in the autumn and winter months. However, there is also a small percentage from Holland, Morocco and France.
