1. how come you don't do egg, bacon and sausage roll together
Thanks for your question. We've recently been developing breakfast options and did actually look at an option similar to this. McDonald’s will now sales test these products, starting in March 2011, and if successful they will be rolled out nationally, so keep an eye out! (January 2011)

2. Why are your breakfast sausages square? you cud jus cut a proper sausage in half!!
The sausage patty used in the breakfast muffin is specially made for McDonald's and is made from cuts of pork and lightly seasoned with herbs. The shape of the patty is cut so that it fits perfectly and compliments the McMuffin Buns.

3. I was wondering. What is the exact price of a McDonald’s Breakfast pancakes and syrup meal cost? I know other people have asked but the only answer they have got is something along the lines of "The pancakes and syrup are included in a meal and therefore cannot be priced." What I want to know is, how much is the 'meal'?
Thank you for your question. Prices may sometimes vary between different McDonald’s restaurants according to whether they are company owned or franchised stores. However prices for all menu items are displayed in each restaurant. (Feb 2010)

5. Hi. What is the most nutritious breakfast meal or breakfast meal combination that MacDonald's has?
Thank you for your question. Oatso Simple is a great breakfast choice with only 195 calories. It naturally includes wholegrain - a good source of fibre, which is important to help maintain a healthy digestive system. McDonald’s also use organic semi-skimmed milk in this - which is naturally low in fat and an excellent source of calcium. If purchased with a Tropicana Orange Juice and a Fruit Bag this would help provide two portions of fruit out of the recommended five portions or fruit and vegetables a day. Breakfast is the perfect time to tackle the 'five a day' quote, particularly with fruits. You can find a full list of ingredients for all McDonald’s UK menu items by visiting the ‘Food’ section at www.mcdonalds.co.uk.

6. Why aren't your breakfast bagels offered as part of a meal deal as your mcmuffins are?
Thank you for your question. McDonald's is sorry to hear that you feel your breakfast meal deal options are limited. When McDonald's is researching new items for the menu, it spends a considerable amount of time finding out what the majority of customers like and want to see on the menu. At present McDonalds have no plans to change its breakfast meal deals. (January 2009)

8. I seem to remember to used to being able to buy a scrambled egg mcmuffin, is this still available, can i ask for the sausage egg mcmuffin without the sausage and it would be the same?
Thank you for your question. The Scrambled Egg McMuffin is no longer available on the current breakfast menu, sorry. However, you can order the Sausage and Egg McMuffin without the sausage. All you have to do is make the Crew member aware of your request when you order. Please be aware that you are likely to be charged for the price of the full Sausage and Egg McMuffin as there is no provision for an Egg McMuffin programmed into the till menu system. (January 2009)

9. Why is it that i am charged the same price for an Egg McMuffin as a Sausage and Egg McMuffin? I find it incredibly unfair that these 2 products are charged the same.
McDonald’s stopped selling Egg McMuffins in restaurants as a standard menu item. As a result the Egg McMuffin has been removed from restaurant till functions. In order to charge you for your special request, the staff must therefore charge you for a standard Sausage and Egg McMuffin, as this is effectively what you are ordering without the Sausage. If you unhappy about this, then please do not hesitate to contact the Customer Services team on 08705 244622 so they can fully investigate this matter. (Jan 09)

10. Before the introduction of the double sausage and egg mcmuffin, I used to ask for the egg on the sausge and egg mcmuffin to be replaced with a sausage patty hence creating a double sausage mcmuffin. When I ask for this nowadays, I'm usually told this isn't possible and I must pay for a double sausage and egg mcmuffin but without the egg. Or sometimes, my request is accepted. What is the official line or what should I be expecting?
McDonald’s apologises for any inconvenience caused. As your order is a special request known as a ‘Grill Order’, it is not a standard breakfast menu item and as such there is no till functionality for the item. This means that the staff members therefore have to charge you for either the Sausage and Egg McMuffin or the Double Sausage and Egg McMuffin. In order to resolve the confusion, the best course of action is for you to bring the issue to the attention of the restaurant manager prior to making your order. If you have any further problems please contact the Customer Service Team on 08705 244622 who will be able to investigate any matters on your behalf. (March 2009)

12. Why is the UK breakfast menu at McDonalds so much smaller than America and other countries? I'd love to try a McGriddle or some waffles.
Make Up Your Own Mind has been set up specifically to answer questions about McDonald's within the UK so it is hard for us to answer specific questions about other markets . That said McDonald’s UK feels that the existing menu offers a great deal of choice and value. Recognising breakfast as the most important meal of the day, the McDonald's breakfast menu has enough options to keep you going through the day with choices from Oatso Simple Porridge, Bagels, McMuffins, Bacon rolls and much more. If there is something that you would like to see on the menu, please contact McDonald's by email using the 'Contact Us' link at www.mcdonalds.co.uk. (September 2009)
