Sorry. McDonald's burgers and buns are made exclusively for its restaurants and cannot be purchased. It's an interesting idea, however, and thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.

Firstly, many apologies for the very slow response to your question, the site is undergoing technical changes and updates and as such some questions had slipped through the net so thank you for your patience. Regarding your question, unfortunately, there are no whole grain buns available on the McDonald's menu at this present time. The brown deli rolls used in McDonalds Deli Sandwiches contain wheat flour and include linseed, sunflower seeds and millet. The best thing to do if you would like to see wholegrain buns on the menu is to contact the Customer Services Team via email using the ‘Contact Us’ link at www.mcdonalds.co.uk the team are always keen to hear your menu suggestions.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 3. Some of your replies state that you won't be supplying gluten free buns as there is not enough demand. I haven't had a burger in 5 years just because I didn't even know I could demand such thing!! I'm convinced if you made it clear then more people would be asking for gluten free burgers on buns! Would I be served if I brought my own GF bun? Would the staff know how much to charge?

McDonald's Hamburgers patties themselves are 100 per cent beef and are gluten free. The buns are not gluten free, but the Business manager where possible should try to accommodate your request. So please ask in advance, prior to ordering, if it's possible to have the burger patty prepared with your own bun, the costs of which would be at the discretion of the restaurant manager.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 4. Why did McDonald's change the shape of the 'McChicken Sandwich' bun? It certainly doesn't taste as good in the round bun. Did you bow down to pressure from foreigners?

This change was made so that McChicken buns would look and taste the same across Europe.

Thanks for your question. Unfortunately, McDonald's has no plans to introduce gluten free buns at present.

The burgers on McDonald's menu come in different sizes depending on what you order. For example, the Quarter Pounder is larger than a Hamburger.

Thanks for the suggestion. You may like to know that McDonald’s released a new promotional sandwich on the 29th November: the Mexican Chicken Premiere which features a Cheddar cheese-topped foccacia bun. This sandwich is a promotional item and will only be available for a limited time.

You can buy a bun with cheese - just ask at the counter. It will cost the same as a Hamburger.
