- 1. Why is it that some fries, a burger and a drink is classed as a meal? I think it would be better to have a smaller burger and drink, with a mcflurry or an apple pie.
-
This is what McDonald’s believe people like so much about the menu - there are so many options available, you can create your order exactly how you want it to be. Extra Value Meals are already available on the menu as these offer the most popular food items at fantastic value for money. If you don't feel like the Extra Value Meal, you can purchase any menu item individually, including those that make up the Extra Value Meals, and do your own thing. The ketchup that McDonald's UK use is Heinz. There is only one Heinz recipe, the number which appears on the sachets relates to the production line the specific sachet was packed on. It has no relevance to the recipe.

It was a fantastic burger in every possible aspect. You must be losing billions from this decision. Thank you for your time
-
Thank you for your question, however this site has been set up to deal primarily with issues in the UK. For further information about McDonald's restaurants in New Zealand please visit http://www.mcdonalds.co.nz/.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 11. Don't you think that your company is trying to please too many people? By catering for the vegetarians, you are making the meat eaters mad. By introducing Halal, you are causing pubic outcry amongst those who do not believe in the Muslim religion. Why cant you just put your foot down and stand up for what you are? A restaurant that is well-known and loved for serving BURGERS and FRIES.
-
Firstly McDonald's apologises unreservedly for the late reply to your question. There were some technical problems which caused some questions to slip through.
Regarding your question; McDonald's is a customer focused business and so - while it realises it can't please everyone all of the time - still needs to keep up with the evolving diets and tastes of the many people who would like to enjoy its food. Thus, McDonald's keeps listening to its customers and adding to or changing the menu accordingly. For example, the company now uses a non-hydrogenated blend of sunflower and rapeseed oil, and also no longer uses cochineal in its Strawberry Milkshakes so that everyone, including vegetarians and Muslims, are able to enjoy the great tastes that burger-lovers have always appreciated at McDonald's. On that note, there is more information about the Halal trial underway (on the chicken menu in one London restaurant) on this website but the company has not, at this stage, introduced Halal to the menu more broadly.

What are these? Delicious Digg Reddit Facebook StumbleUpon - 12. Is your food actually good for our health? Also once i bought a burger from you and it had rotten lettuce in it, why is this, huh?
-
Thank you for your question and sorry for our slow response - unfortunately your question seems to have slipped through the records. McDonald's apologises for any dissatisfaction you felt with the food quality at one of its restaurants. This should not have happened as there are strict procedures in place to prevent it. However, on the rare occasion that your food is not up to the high standards you expect from McDonald's, please bring it to the attention of the restaurant manager who will be happy to prepare you a fresh order. With regard to your question about McDonald's food being healthy, nutritionists tend to say that individual food items should not be classified as being 'healthy' or 'unhealthy'. Its variation, moderation, balance and physical activity that is fundamental to a good diet. McDonald's provides nutritional information on most of its packaging and on all trayliners to help people make better informed decisions on what they eat. McDonald's believes that its food can be enjoyed responsibly by anybody with the above facts taken into consideration.
