1. why do you have calorie info for large hot chocolates on your website when they only come in medium? Every time our MacDonalds replaces a large burnt cappuccino with a hot choc (cos the coffee machine broke down again) they said we had to have a medium hot choc as they didn't come in large.
Thank you for your question. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. McDonald’s Company owned restaurants do not sell a large hot chocolate however some franchised restaurants do. This is dependent on the type of machine they have installed. (Jan 2010)

2. Look, put Dr Pepper on your menu NOW and keep big tasty on your otherwise crummy menu or a promise you will live to regret it!!! You got that?
McDonald’s is glad that you enjoy the Big Tasty, however it was originally created as a one-off promotion, but as a result of it popularity with customers it has made a welcome return on numerous occasions. Dr Pepper is very similar to a drink McDonald's previously had on its menu called Root Beer. This was removed due to its lack of popularity. If you feel strongly about a particular menu item you could always mention this to your local branch manager, or alternatively contact the Customer Services Team by visiting the ‘Contact Us’ section at www.mcdonalds.co.uk. They will be happy to hear your comments.

4. Please will you consider having Dr Pepper in UK McDonalds? Although I love root beer, Dr Pepper is nothing like it, and is far more popular in the UK than root beer is/was. It's okay saying there's Tropicana and stuff and thus "more choice than ever!!" etc, but a new fizzy drink would be nice. EVERYWHERE does the standard Coke/Sprite/Fanta combo, if you had Dr Pepper it'd be really really popular, it could replace Diet Coke, which is the same as Coke Zero.
Unfortunately McDonald's doesn't have any plans to introduced Dr Pepper onto it's menu. However if you feel strongly about seeing Dr. Pepper on the UK menu, please contact the Customer Service Team by using the 'Contact Us' link at www.mcdonalds.co.uk or by calling the helpline on 08705 244622 - the team is always keen to hear your suggestions. 5. Well, lots of interest here about a reintroduction or a new trial of Root Beer here in the UK. Through various social networking sites I am aware of many questions/suggestions of its reintroduction or at least a trial taking place. But it would seem that everyone is getting the semi-automated response of please contact us and make a suggestion. Many of us have and still the same response, could McD's please make a clear/formal stance on this matter to put evryone out of their misery?
Thank you for your interesting question. McDonald’s is constantly reviewing its range of drink options, however at present there are no current plans to bring Root Beer back to the McDonald’s menu. (March 09)

6. I know that you have stated that root beer was removed from the menu due to poor sales but obviously a lot of your customers are unhappy about this. Listen to your customers and introduce it back onto the menu if only for a trial period.
McDonald's Root Beer does have a little bit of a cult following with customers and your passion for the drink has been noticed. There are no current plans to bring it back at the moment. However, if more people show the same passion as you it's possible that you may see the Root Beer back on the menu in the future. (October 2008)

7. In Japan you can have Iced Tea in Mcdonalds, how about introducing it in the UK - should be easy as you have tea and ice already?
Each country develops food that is suitable for local tastes. Where a promotion has been successful in other countries, this may be taken on board by the UK.
