1. I and two of my children are allergic to wheat and dairy. When are you going to make soya milk available for your teas coffees milkshakes and ice cream. When are you able to supply burger buns that are wheat free. There is a massive growing market of children and adults who can not eat wheat dairy or both. You would make yourselves more user friendly if you were prepared to offer alternatives and at the end of the day soya is fair healthier than dairy and actually tastes better.
McDonald's currently does not offer soya milk as an option but this is something that the company will continue to monitor via customer feedback. There are no plans at the moment to introduce gluten-free bread to the menu. However, a number of existing products are suitable for those with a wheat and/or dairy intolerance such as the French Fries, the Hash Browns, the Garden Side Salad, the Carrot Sticks and the Fruit Bags. 2. Why have you discontiued the use of half cream milk (red top cartons) and replace them with semi-skimmed milk (green top cartons)?Until the change McDonald's hot beverages rivalled and exceeded standards set by dedicated providers such as Starbucks They make the hot beverages taste awful... what happened to customer preference? Thanks
Coffee has been a big focus for McDonald’s recently. In the last 18 months restaurants have changed from filtered coffee to espresso-style coffees, such as cappuccinos and lattes. In the light of this change, McDonald’s also reviewed its milk and cream and decided to replace the half-cream cartons with semi-skimmed milk. These decisions were taken as a result of positive customer feedback and research.
