2. where has all the root beer and mustard sauce gone? bring them back of I will go mad
McDonald’s stopped selling root beer some time ago as this wasn’t popular enough with UK customers to keep on the menu and this is true of the Mild Mustard dip. However, if there is a big enough demand for either of these products, then McDonald's would consider the possibility of bringing them back to the menu. (December 2007)

4. Why did you stop selling root beer? "Not enough demand" is a pathetic excuse - whatever happened to VARIETY... the ability to make a CHOICE? Every time I am forced out of lack of choice to drink cola, and everytime I do, I feel like I'm bashing my head against a wall. I'm not coming back to McDonalds until you bring back root beer.

10. Why don't you sell Root Beer anymore? Also, to clarify - you responded to another correspondent whose question pertained to Root Beer and you inferred that it was alcoholic - it wasn't - it's a soft drink. I thought you knew your menu!
Thanks for pointing out the mistake – that particular question got an answer intended for another question about beer. McDonald’s stopped selling root beer some time ago as this wasn’t popular enough with UK customers to remain on the menu. However new drinks which have proved popular such as Tropicana orange juice and semi-skimmed organic milk have been added to the menu to give customers more choice and variety.
